Kadita Revamp Mobile Legends Guide Full Skill Explanation and Gameplay Changes!

Kadita, one of Mobile Legends’ most iconic mage/assassin hybrids, is getting a major revamp that changes her skill mechanics, combos, and overall playstyle. While this updated version is still unfinished and not yet available on the official server, the early test gameplay gives us a clear idea of what to expect. Here’s everything you need to know about Kadita’s new abilities and how they impact her role in the game. Also check out Mobile Legends Tier List and More!

What’s New with Kadita’s Skills?

Skill 1 – Water Wave

Kadita still sends out a wave of water to damage enemies, but with a 7-second cooldown in the early game. This ability remains a key poke and mobility tool, though it no longer has some of the disengage potential from before.

Skill 2 – Mermaid Form Transformation

This is the biggest change in her kit. When used in water (like a river), Kadita transforms into a mermaid and stays in that form permanently while in the water. On land, a countdown begins, and when it ends, she reverts to her human form.

  • In mermaid form, Kadita gains increased movement speed.
  • She cannot use basic attacks but can still use Skill 1, Skill 2 (again), and her Ultimate.
  • Activating Skill 2 a second time while in mermaid form reverts her to human form, causing a knock-up effect on enemies hit.
  • While in mermaid form, she can still take damage from enemies and objectives (like the Turtle).

This ability also functions as a short dash, letting Kadita close gaps or reposition before launching her combo.

Ultimate – Rough Waves (unchanged in core concept)

Her ultimate remains a devastating burst tool, but the new Skill 2 interactions create delays between initiating the combo and casting the ultimate. This timing is crucial to master, as the animation and input delay could cause missed opportunities in high-pressure fights.

How to Combo with the Revamped Kadita

The old Skill 1 → Skill 2 → Ultimate chain is still usable, but the new mechanics open up alternative combos:

1.Aggressive Engage Combo

  • Skill 2 (enter mermaid form) → Skill 1 dash toward the target → Skill 2 again to knock-up → Ultimate.
  • Good for catching targets off-guard and chaining crowd control into burst damage.

2.Quick Knock-Up Combo

  • Skill 2 (mermaid) → Skill 2 again instantly → Ultimate.
  • Faster execution but less poke damage before the burst.

3.Extended Chase Combo

  • Skill 2 (mermaid) → Skill 1 to dash in → Skill 2 again for knock-up → Ultimate.
  • Best when chasing enemies with low HP who are trying to escape.

Pros and Cons of the Revamp

Pros

  • Increased mobility in water zones.
  • Flexible initiation options with mermaid form dash.
  • Unique movement-based playstyle for map control.

Cons

  • No basic attacks in mermaid form limits sustained DPS.
  • Slight delay between Skill 2 and Ultimate can make combos harder to execute.
  • Requires more mechanical precision compared to the old Kadita.

Kadita’s revamp makes her more dynamic but also more complex. Her mermaid form opens up new movement possibilities and map-specific strategies, but the loss of basic attacks and the added delay between skills will take time for players to adapt. For now, this version is still in testing, meaning there could be more adjustments before it arrives on the official server. Mastering the timing of her Skill 2 and Ultimate will be the key to unlocking her full potential once the revamp goes live.
