Choosing the right weapon in Deadzone Rogue can make or break your run. While augments, perks, and items all matter, your gun defines your playstyle. Some weapons dominate no matter the build, while others need heavy setup to feel effective. This tier list breaks down every weapon from S to D tier, explaining why they shine or struggle.

Deadzone Rogue Weapons Tier List

  • S Tier – VLR-72 Tempest, VLR Arcblade, AS-12 Rampage, MP18-L Revenant, T30 Nova Burst
  • A Tier – PR20x Pulsar, MPK-47 Blitz, MPK-17 Snapdragon, M-100 Crosspoint
  • B Tier – Ion Driver, HR6C Juggernaut, HK-92 Warbringer, Tritek-3SB, Titan-10 Hellstorm
  • C Tier – AR-70 Vanguard, HK-44 Warrior, PR14x Aeos, Sidekick-3 AP
  • D Tier – BP-44 Harrier, BAS-24 Warden, HC8 Overlord, PDS Plex-1

S Tier – The Best Weapons

  • VLR-72 Tempest (LMG) – Massive mag size, low recoil, and consistent sustained DPS. Works with nearly every build.
  • VLR Arcblade (SMG) – Extremely fast fire rate and quick reloads, making it great for proc-focused and elemental builds.
  • AS-12 Rampage (Shotgun) – A fully automatic secondary shotgun with tight spread and devastating close-range damage. Perfect for freeing your primary slot.
  • MP18-L Revenant (DMR) – High accuracy and reliable mid-to-long-range DPS. Shines in weakpoint and elemental setups.
  • T30 Nova Burst (Shotgun) – One of the hardest hitters in the game, rewarding precision with high multipliers. Can become infinite with ammo sustain perks.

A Tier – Strong Weapons for Clear Runs

  • PR20x Pulsar (AR) – Balanced fire rate and solid damage. Scales well with crit builds.
  • MPK-47 Blitz (SMG) – High fire rate with good reload speed, excellent for close-range and status effect builds.
  • MPK-17 Snapdragon (SMG) – A rapid-fire monster that melts enemies with ammo perks. Weak without sustain but becomes a pocket minigun with the right setup.
  • M-100 Crosspoint (Sniper) – Incredible weakpoint damage, often one-shotting enemies. Struggles against groups, but amazing for precision builds.

B Tier – Require Setup to Shine

  • Titan-10 Hellstorm (LMG/Minigun) – Top-tier sustained DPS when revved up, but slow mobility and spin-up time hurt flexibility.
  • Ion Driver (Sniper) – Charged shots deal massive crit damage, but uncharged fire feels weak. Suits glass cannon builds.
  • HR6C Juggernaut (LMG) – Decent firepower with good mag size, but sluggish fire rate and reload make it clunky.
  • HK-92 Warbringer (LMG) – Heavy shots but underwhelming speed and reload compared to Tempest.
  • Tritek-3SB (Pistol) – Burst-fire pistol with a large magazine, but falls behind higher-tier options.

C Tier – Outclassed

  • AR-70 Vanguard (AR) – Fastest-firing AR, but low damage and small mag make it inefficient.
  • HK-44 Warrior (AR) – Hits harder than Vanguard but loses fire rate, making it worse for proc builds.
  • PR14x Aeos (Pistol) – Decent power at close range, but gets outclassed by other secondaries.
  • Sidekick-3 AP (Pistol) – Okay mag size and damage, but underperforms against armor and lacks fire rate.

D Tier – Weapons to Avoid

  • BP-44 Harrier (Burst Rifle) – High recoil, awkward burst delay, and weak close-range DPS.
  • BAS-24 Warden (Shotgun) – Strong per-shot damage, but tiny magazine and poor sustained DPS make it impractical.
  • HC8 Overlord (Revolver) – Cool-looking, but low fire rate and mag size kill its potential. Only works with niche builds.
  • PDS Plex-1 (Pistol) – High weakpoint multiplier but terrible DPS overall. Outclassed in nearly every situation.

If you’re new to Deadzone Rogue, stick to S-tier and A-tier weapons to maximize your chances of clearing runs consistently. B-tier weapons can still be viable with the right perks, while C and D-tier picks are generally not worth your time. The right weapon makes your build flow, so experiment, but prioritize Tempest, Arcblade, Revenant, and Nova Burst for the strongest performance.
