Archived How to Solo Roland/Gebura Library Guide
Taking on the Roland or Gebura Library invitation in Archived can look intimidating at first, but with the right build, weapon, and a bit of patience, it’s very doable—even solo as a Grade 1. This guide will walk you through the process step by step, covering preparation, minion waves, and finally the boss fight. Check out our Guide on Mang and How to get it.
Preparation Before the Fight

Recommended Weapon: Fuse Blade of Rune Mirror Worlds
- This weapon is excellent for both PvP and PvE thanks to its reliable crits, strong scaling, and splash damage.
Extra Items:
- Bring lots of Ampule as backup. It’s a lifesaver when things get rough against bosses or minion swarms.
Other Notes:
- Gravity Manipulation doesn’t work here—don’t waste your time trying to use it.
- Keep patience. This is a long fight, and rushing will get you killed quickly.
Stage 1: Dealing with the Minions

The first few waves are all about clearing small minions, which can actually be harder than the boss itself. These enemies come in groups and can overwhelm you fast.
Tips for Minion Waves:
- Parry consistently. Most of their attacks are parryable and doing so saves a lot of health.
- Use your Fuse Blade’s splash damage to thin out groups.
- Always be mindful of scissors-type enemies—they can combo into you and take you out quickly if you’re careless.
Expect about three to four minion stages before the boss appears. Each stage usually has a “mini-boss” with slightly higher HP.
Stage 2: Facing Roland/Gebura
Once you finish the minion waves, the real fight begins. Roland/Gebura is much less chaotic compared to their minions but still requires focus.
Boss Behavior:
- Roland/Gebura typically does two quick M1 combos followed by a dash. Learn this rhythm and parry accordingly.
- Watch out for rush attacks—these are their main source of pressure.
- Sometimes the AI can bug out or stall. If that happens, stay cautious until they reset their actions.
How to Win:
- Stick close, bait out attacks, and punish during recovery.
- Don’t panic if you miss a parry—their combos aren’t lethal if you stay healed and ready.
- Keep your patience, and slowly chip them down.
Defeating Roland or Gebura can grant solid rewards, including the chance for powerful drops like Singularity gear. The main challenge isn’t the boss itself, but surviving through the waves of minions beforehand. Soloing Roland or Gebura as a Grade 1 is entirely possible with the right weapon and mindset.
The hardest part will always be the minion stages—once you get through them in Archived, the boss feels much easier in comparison. Remember to stock up on your ampules, practice your parries, and take the fight slowly. With these steps, you’ll be clearing the Library solo in no time.
