Basketball Zero has dropped a big update featuring the Spider v Symbiote theme, and it comes packed with new abilities, balance changes, and even upcoming zones. This patch introduces a spider-inspired playstyle that changes both offense and defense, making the game more dynamic and fun for players who enjoy unique mechanics. New Spider Playstyle

On the Ball

• Roll Away – Grants you two powerful dashes to escape pressure or reposition. However, if you’re carrying the ball, be careful since it can still be stolen.
• Layup Chance – If used within the 2-point line, you may perform a layup. Still, timing is key since defenders can snatch the ball.

Off the Ball

• Shot Sense – Lets you snag a nearby loose ball mid-air with a web. Perfect for recovering missed shots or intercepting rebounds.

Extra Spider Abilities

• Say Hi (On Ball) – Uses a ragdolled player to pull yourself forward. If an opponent is close, you’ll slam the ragdoll into them, knocking them out.
• Teamwork (Off Ball) – Shoots a web at a teammate and launches them toward the ball. If the ball is on an opponent, it will even attempt to steal it!

Spider Awakening

When awakened, the Spider style becomes even more dangerous:

• Catch – Catches a ball heading toward your hoop, then webs it and redirects it toward the enemy hoop with help from teammates.
• Senses – Automatically dribbles and intercepts passes or shots in close range for a short time.

New Zones

Zones are officially being added tomorrow, with both Spider and Symbiote styles getting their own. Players are encouraged to save spins for the release.

Rebalances

• Ordinary Shot – Slightly nerfed.
• 777 – Now provides five dribbles when you hit the jackpot.

Fixes & Improvements

• Abilities no longer block “unblockable” passes.
