Grow a Garden’s latest events bring a suite of powerful new pets that will change how gardens behave. Below is a clear breakdown of every new pet, what they look like, their traits, and when you can get them. No nested lists — each pet has its own short section so you can scan quickly.
When will these pets be obtainable?
All of the pets above will become obtainable with the August 23rd update. Until that update, some pets may appear as unobtainable previews in-game or in event teasers.
1. Peach Wasp (Mythical)
Peach Wasp is a mythical pet coming in the second part of the Beanstalk Event. It has 2,500 hunger and looks like the Anti-Bee Wasp but with a peach-pink body, shimmering silver wings, and a peach resting on its back.
Trait:
- Peach Pollinator flies to a nearby fruit every 150–200 seconds and Plasmafies it (applies Plasma mutation).
- Peach Stinger stings a random pet every 60–120 seconds and advances that pet’s ability cooldown by 60–120 seconds.
2. Lemon Lion (Admin Abuse War reward)
Lemon Lion is a voxel-styled lion available as a reward during the Admin Abuse War event. It has a rich brown mane, bright yellow body, and a half-lemon fused into its torso.
Trait:
- Brain-Roar mutates a random fruit with Brainrot.
- Citrus Roar occasionally grants bonus experience to a random pet.
3. Apple Gazelle (Admin Abuse War reward)
Apple Gazelle is a mythical reward for attending the Admin Abuse War. It has 2,500 hunger and looks like a cream-coloured deer with a multi-layered green Sugar Apple fused into its torso.
Trait:
- Apple Harvester gives fruit-with-apple-in-the-name a 4–7% chance to duplicate on collect.
- Sugar Warp gives Sugar Apple crops a 2–4% chance to apply the Warped mutation to a random garden fruit when harvested.
4. Mandrake (Legendary)
Mandrake is a legendary pet launching in the second part of the Beanstalk Event. It has 10,000 hunger and uses the same model as the Mandrake crop with adjustments.
Trait:
- Harvesting Mandrake crops has a 3% chance to apply the Rot mutation to a random fruit in your garden.
5. Griffin (Divine)
Griffin is a divine pet arriving in the second part of the Beanstalk Event. It resembles the mythical griffin—lion body and tail combined with an eagle head, wings, and legs.
Trait:
- Every 15 minutes it flaunts its wings and releases a Cyclone.
- Pets struck by the Cyclone have their cooldowns advanced by 60 seconds, and fruits struck have a 10% chance to gain the Cyclonic mutation.
6. Elk
Elk is an unobtainable pet that will be released in the second part of the Beanstalk Event. It resembles a real-life elk with similarities to deer and spotted deer.
Trait:
- When you collect berry fruits there is a 2% chance the berry will remain planted (it “stays” after collection).
- Rarer plants have a proportionally rarer chance to replant.
How these pets affect your garden strategy
Peach Wasp and Mandrake are mutation-focused and will increase mutation spread in your garden; expect more Plasma, Rot, and Cyclonic interactions if you run them together. Apple Gazelle and Elk directly improve resource yield through duplication and replant chances, which is great for scaling production.
Lemon Lion adds mutation diversity with Brainrot and passive pet XP, acting as both utility and growth support. Griffin’s Cyclone mechanic is a double-edged tool—cooldown manipulation can be strong for timed abilities but requires planning.
The Beanstalk Event and Admin Abuse War Grow a Garden pets add powerful, garden-changing mechanics across mutations, duplication, replant chances, and cooldown interactions. Mark August 23rd on your calendar and plan which pets best fit your garden strategy—whether you want mutation spread, repeat harvests, or passive XP gains.
