Grow a Garden Admin War & Beanstalk Pt. 2 Update Guide – New Codes, Pets, Items, and More!

The latest update for Grow a Garden has landed, bringing two major additions: the chaotic Admin War event and the much-anticipated Beanstalk Pt. 2 Expansion. Packed with new plants, pets, items, and even achievements, this patch gives players more ways to grow, climb, and earn unique rewards. Here’s everything you need to know about what’s new.

Admin War Event – August 23, 2025

Mark your calendars! On August 23, 2025, at 21:00, the Admin War event will take place. To join in, make sure you’re dressed as a green bean in-game. Players can expect insane admin abuse with wild weather effects, exclusive rewards, and powerful mutations. This event is also your chance to grab limited and OP items that won’t be available anywhere else.

Beanstalk Pt. 2 Expansion

The Beanstalk event has received a huge expansion. As you climb, you now have a chance to encounter four different types of beanstalks, including new versions like the golden and mushroom trampoline stalks. Along the way, you’ll find more rewards and even a brand-new shop waiting at the top of the clouds.

A big addition is the Friendship System with the Giant. By feeding him, you can level up your friendship, which unlocks a new shop tab full of rewards. The higher your friendship, the better the items you can buy.

Garden Guide Additions

Two new systems make progression even smoother:

• Pet Achievements – Just like plant achievements, pets now have 7 rarities of challenges. Completing them grants XP and rewards, and finishing all of them unlocks multiple special items.
• Level Reward Track UI – You can now track your progress in the “Player” section of the Garden Guide, making it easier to see what’s coming next.

New Plants

The update adds several fresh plants for collectors and farmers to discover:

• Cyclamen
• Willowberry
• Snaparino Beanarini
• Calla Lily
• Flare Melon
• Glowpod
• Crown of Thorns

New Pets

Pets are a big part of this update too. The Griffin makes its debut along with several other new creatures, including deer variants and some special admin pets for the event. Check out our All New Pets Tier List.

New Items and Shards

This patch adds a mix of powerful items and mutation shards that open up new strategies:

• Skyroot Chest – Contains 3 possible pets and 3 possible seeds.
• Can of Beans – Increases jump height when held.
• Cleansing Pet Shard – Removes a pet’s mutation.
• Giantbean, Rainbow, Gold, and Silver Pet Shards – Apply unique mutations to pets.
• Mega, Gold, and Silver Lollipops – Instantly boost pet levels (up to 100 with the mega version).

Events and Cosmetics

The update also brings:

• New admin weathers and mutations to shake up gameplay.
• The Egg Incubator, powered by fruit, which speeds up egg hatching.
• A Mutation Machine Booster for faster pet mutations.
• Two brand-new fence skins and over seven new cosmetic rewards unlockable as you level up.
