All Voyagers Island Guide & How to Go To Them

In VOYAGERS, the sea isn’t just endless water. Scattered across the ocean are Islands that serve as the core of exploration and progression. Each island has its own role, whether it’s providing loot, enemies to fight, or key items that bring you closer to the final Kraken Boss battle.

Islands are the main destinations you’ll be visiting throughout your runs. Most are randomly generated, filled with zombies, loot, and resources. However, some islands are fixed, with unique purposes tied to the game’s progression system.

Because VOYAGERS uses procedural generation, every playthrough feels fresh, but you’ll always encounter a few special islands that are key to moving forward.

All 4 Island Types

1. Randomly Generated Islands

These are the most common islands you’ll come across. They’re filled with zombies, and defeating them lets you gather loot scattered around. Each visit is a chance to restock supplies or find useful resources.

2. Merchant Island

Merchant Islands look like the random ones but come with a guaranteed Merchant NPC. Here, you can sell your loot for silver and purchase items, tools, and weapons. They’re crucial for upgrading your gear before tackling tougher challenges.

3. Mysterious Island

This is a special island tied to summoning the Kraken. You can reach it using the Mysterious Compass (which you spawn with at the start). After clearing zombies outside, you’ll enter a cave containing loot, a random Cursed Weapon, and the Cursed Compass—your key to the next stage.

4. Cursed Island

The final step before facing the Kraken. This eerie island holds the Cursed Conch, which lets you summon the Kraken Boss. By using the Cursed Compass, you’ll be guided here, with the distance shown under the compass bar at the top of the screen.

Islands in VOYAGERS aren’t just stops on the map—they’re the backbone of exploration and progression. From farming loot on random islands to upgrading gear at Merchant Islands, and eventually reaching the Mysterious and Cursed Islands to summon the Kraken, each one plays a vital role in your journey.
