Random Trials has returned in Anime Last Stand, and many players are looking for the best way to farm rewards efficiently. This game mode works differently compared to regular stages, so having the right strategy can save you a lot of time.

In this guide, we’ll cover how the mode works, how to merge units, and the best way to farm for rewards without wasting hours. Check out our Anime Last Stands Codes and ALS Tier List.

What is Random Trials?

Random Trials is an event available in the World 2 lobby (and possibly World 1 as well). You can enter by speaking to Cura, where you’ll also find the shop. The main rewards you should focus on include Essence Selectors, Pearls, Technic Shots, and Perfect Stat Cubes. Other items are less important, so prioritize Pearls and Essence Selectors first.

Once inside the mode, you’ll notice a major change: you don’t bring your own units. Instead, you roll random ones by spending $500 in-game. These units can be merged to create stronger versions. For example:

  • Rare + Rare = Epic
  • Epic + Epic = Legendary
  • Legendary + Legendary = Mythic
  • Mythic + Mythic = Celestial
  • Celestial + Celestial = Ultimate (Secret)
  • Ultimate + Ultimate = Godly

The main goal is to keep merging until you obtain Godly units. Some standout Godly options include Gilgamesh, who provides massive damage, and Garou, who boosts crit for your team. Early-game units like Luffy and Frieren are also useful for their slows and crowd control.

Best Farming Strategy

While it’s possible to push extremely high waves (up to 300+), it’s not the most efficient. The maximum amount of Random Cubes you can earn in one run is 5,000, but reaching that cap takes more than an hour. Instead, aim for Wave 150–200 before restarting. This way, you’ll get solid rewards without investing too much time in a single run. A few extra tips:

  • Merge smartly. Focus on upgrading one slot to Godly early.
  • If you roll Garou, keep him in the leader slot for his crit boost.
  • Frieren is strong in the early waves thanks to her range and crowd control.
  • Save money to reroll for higher-rarity units rather than placing weak ones.
  • Don’t waste time chasing Wave 1,000. Farming in shorter runs is more efficient.

Random Trials is designed to be simple but rewarding, especially for players who take the time to merge units properly. Instead of dragging one long run, focus on farming multiple shorter runs to maximize your rewards.

With smart merges and key units like Gilgamesh, Frieren, and Garou, you’ll have no problem clearing waves and farming currency. Take advantage of this event while it’s live, as it’s one of the easiest ways to stock up on valuable resources in Anime Last Stand.
