Progressing through Acecrafts introduces new mechanics that make battles more exciting and tactical. One of the biggest additions is the Support System, which becomes available as you advance further in the game.
This feature lets you call in powerful assists that can turn the tide of battle when things get overwhelming. Also check out our Acecrafts Tier List, and Acecrafts Weapon guide for those interested.
How to Unlock the Support System
The Support System is unlocked once you reach Chapter 4. From this point onward, you’ll be able to add support pilots to your lineup. Each support pilot is directly connected to a specific main pilot. For example:
- Amelia pairs with Echo.
Once unlocked, supports will stay available as you continue to progress through the game.
How Support Pilots Work
Support pilots bring an ultimate attachment into battle. This skill can deliver massive damage or provide critical utility, but it comes with a cooldown. That means you’ll need to be smart about when to use it. For instance:
- Echo’s Support Skill: Calls down a giant bomb that can wipe out enemies in a large area.
Other support pilots will have their own unique ultimate attachments, each tied to the main pilot they support.
Best Times to Use Supports
Because supports are limited by cooldowns, they’re most effective when used strategically:
- Boss Battles: Save your support skill to quickly burn down bosses with high HP.
- Overwhelming Waves: Use them when enemies flood the screen and you risk being cornered.
- Survival Situations: If your HP is low, a well-timed support can clear space and buy you time.
Unlocking the Support System in Acecrafts changes how you approach fights. By Chapter 4, supports give you a new safety net with powerful ultimate attachments, but their cooldowns mean you can’t waste them on every small wave.
Pair the right support with your main pilot, time their activation carefully, and you’ll have a much easier time pushing through the game’s toughest stages.
