Seal of Fate Tier List, Best Meowmates to Use!
Seal of Fate (SoF) is one of the most balanced gacha titles out there, where every character—called Meowmates—has real end-game potential. Unlike most gacha RPGs that heavily favor only a handful of units, Seal of Fate encourages you to invest in multiple Meowmates.
Their bond effects, passive skills, and synergies can completely shift the outcome of a fight, making smart team-building essential across every mode. Check out our Seal of Fate Codes for more rewards!
If you’re unsure which Meowmates to prioritize or which shards to summon first, this ultimate Seal of Fate tier list breaks down the strongest characters, ranking them from S Tier to B Tier with insights into why they shine.

What We Considered When Ranking
When building this Seal of Fate tier list, we evaluated every Meowmate based on:
- Active & Passive Abilities – Damage potential, healing, control, debuffs, or team-wide buffs that directly impact battle.
- Bond Effects – Some Meowmates become incredibly strong when paired with the right ally, unlocking unique synergy buffs.
- Versatility – Characters who perform well across multiple modes (PvE, PvP, bosses, etc.) rank higher.
- Rarity & Scaling – High-rarity units often dominate, but some lower-rarity Meowmates shine early on or with minimal investment.
S Tier Meowmates
The best of the best—these characters either carry teams outright or enable game-breaking strategies.
- Lilith (Elemental/Striker): The queen of Burn comps. Spreads Burn effects across enemies, detonates them for huge AoE damage, and doesn’t need many Star-Ups to reach peak power.
- Ruriken (Oblivion/Raider): Excellent front-row damage dealer with built-in damage cap mechanics. Pairs perfectly with Lan for crit buffs and sustain.
- Lunelle (Nocturne/Guardian): A hybrid tank/DPS/support who scales into late-game with high True Damage and strong defensive tools.
- Noah (Sanctum/Striker): One of the most reliable DPS picks thanks to % HP damage, debuffs, and self-sustain.
- Somniel (Sanctum/Support): Meta healer and buffer, capable of cleansing debuffs, granting shields, and team-wide healing.
- Lan (Oblivion/Raider): Provides Energy regeneration and powerful team buffs, making her invaluable in both PvE and PvP.
- Angela (Sanctum/Support): A hybrid DPS-support with sustain and debuffs, especially powerful alongside Somniel.
- Hanura (Oblivion/Raider): Single-target damage powerhouse, one of the best boss killers with high investment.
- Fyre (Elemental/Striker): Burn-focused AoE DPS, synergizes with Emilia and other Burn users to melt teams.
- Cryonica (Elemental/Guardian): Top-tier tank that grows stronger when paired with Lilith. Excels at both defense and AoE pressure.
- Sanctina (Sanctum/Support): Crowd-control expert with reliable stuns, debuffs, and support tools.
- Valkyria (Sanctum/Striker): AoE striker with counterattacks and immunity to control. Even stronger with Sanctina deployed.
- Annabelle (Nocturne/Guardian): A shield-giving Guardian who boosts survivability when deployed with Lunelle.
- Khione (Elemental/Raider): Freeze/Silence control queen with deadly AoE bursts.
- Vicky (Oblivion/Raider): Boss-killing assassin with chase attacks and debuffs. Extremely dangerous even at lower investment.
- Raven (Nocturne/Support): A debuffer and Energy Restorer who excels in support-heavy comps.
- Stargazer (Nocturne/Striker): One of the best anti-buff characters with invincibility and dispel mechanics.
- Asuka (Oblivion/Raider): Burst assassin capable of chaining ultimates for multiple eliminations.
- Lucia (Sanctum/Raider): Strong % HP damage dealer, great for boss fights and trigger-based teams.
A Tier Meowmates
Great picks that shine in specific setups or mid-game rosters, but not quite as universally dominant as S Tier.
- Emilia (Elemental/Guardian): A defensive frontliner who excels in countering EX-heavy teams.
- Vera (Sanctum/Support): Core unit in Leading Casts compositions, offering strong buffs and healing.
- Allen (Nocturne/Support): Debuffer with strong Energy manipulation.
- Moyu (Oblivion/Support): AoE DPS-support hybrid, useful in Oblivion squads.
- Ironfist (Sanctum/Support): Debuff amplifier that boosts team damage if conditions are met.
- Grimoire (Elemental/Guardian): Self-healing, HP-sacrificing Guardian with high survivability.
- Bubbly (Elemental/Support): Healing and Energy regen support, good early but falls off late-game.
- Lancelot (Nocturne/Guardian): Reflects damage and shares it with allies, one of the stronger SR tanks.
- Cookie (Elemental/Guardian): Debuff-heavy SR Guardian who doesn’t need much investment to be effective.
- Moo (Oblivion/Raider): AoE debuffer with great potential after Star-Ups.
- Bishop (Sanctum/Support): Energy restoration specialist with moderate buffs.
- Mary (Nocturne/Striker): High DPS potential with Poison, but heavily Star-Up reliant.
- Leon (Sanctum/Guardian): Reflective tank, decent against auto-attack-heavy enemies.
- Bard (Nocturne/Support): Energy reducer who works well with Nocturne allies.
- Meeh (Sanctum/Support): Team-wide healing support, strong for early and mid-game.
- Judie & Jerry (Oblivion/Strikers): Best used together in Leading Casts builds, offering synergy-based AoE damage.
B Tier Meowmates
These Meowmates can be fun to use, but they’re either outclassed by stronger options or too niche to recommend for long-term investment.
- Siren: Healer with buffs but heavily reliant on Star-Ups.
- Helsing: AoE damage dealer with Energy reduction, but requires heavy investment.
- Rosalyn: Buff-focused DPS with limited impact unless fully upgraded.
- Dune: HP-sacrificing tank/DPS, but weaker than SSR Guardians.
- Sweetie: Dodge-based Guardian, very situational.
- Ellie: AoE Raider who shines only with Grimoire.
- Snowball: Early-game DPS with good sustain, falls off later.
- Morgana: Nocturne Guardian with True Damage but requires too much investment.
- Luna: Oblivion DPS with Energy sustain, but not competitive against SSR options.
- Others (Grace, Blaze, Pinky, Stella, Candice, Fishbowl, Cuddle, Huntress): Playable, but rarely optimal compared to higher tiers.
Seal of Fate rewards team-building and synergy more than raw power. While S Tier Meowmates dominate on their own, many A and even B Tier characters become game-changing when paired with the right allies and Bond bonuses. If you’re just starting, don’t ignore lower-rarity characters—they’ll carry you until you collect and Star-Up your SSRs.
