In Twilight’s Zone, you’ll often come across different consumable items scattered across rooms and hallways. These items can give your Star temporary boosts, such as extra stamina, speed, or faster repair skills.

Since you only have three inventory slots, choosing which items to use right away and which ones to save becomes part of your strategy. Below is a breakdown of all consumables in the game and what each one does. Also check out the official Twilight’s Zone Links and Guide!

All Consumable Items in Twilight’s Zone

  • Soda – Restores 45 points of Stamina, giving you a quick energy refill to keep going.

  • Orange Soda – Speeds up Stamina Recovery by 50% for 20 seconds, helping you bounce back faster after tiring actions.

  • Bubblegum – Randomly boosts one of your Star’s stats by 10% for 5 seconds, offering a short burst of versatility.

  • Tea – Raises your maximum Stamina by 25 and slightly increases Walk Speed by 10% for 10 seconds, perfect for balanced movement.

  • Mint Bar – Improves your Stealth by 25% for 8 seconds, making it easier to avoid detection.

  • Chocolate Bar – Grants a 25% increase to both Walk and Run Speed for 5 seconds, great for quick escapes or reaching objectives.

  • Sundae – Dramatically boosts Stamina Regeneration by 150% for 15 seconds, letting you recover energy much faster than usual.

  • Hourglass – Expands the Skill Check window by 50% for 15 seconds while repairing a Capacitor Machine, making repairs more forgiving.

  • Repair Book – Doubles your Repair Speed (100% boost) on a Capacitor Machine for 10 seconds, helping you finish tasks in half the time.

Each item is situational. For example, Tea and Chocolate Bar are great when you need more mobility to escape threats, while Hourglass and Repair Book shine during machine repair tasks.

Other Collectibles

Besides consumables, you’ll also encounter two other valuable items:

  • Research Books – Complete Star Research, and rewards you with 5 Volts.
  • Stars – The premium currency of Twilight’s Zone. You can spend these in the Twilight Shop, which appears in the lift between floors, to buy Relics and other helpful items.

Managing your inventory in Twilight’s Zone is just as important as surviving its dangers. Use quick-boost consumables like Soda or Sundae during emergencies, but don’t overlook long-term benefits from items like Research Books and Stars. The right choice at the right time can make the difference between clearing the next floor or getting stuck.
