What Are Mutations?

Mutations in Grow a Garden are special alterations that can be applied to plants or fruits, giving them extra abilities or visual effects. They often play a big role in progression, crafting, or boosting your overall garden efficiency. With the latest update, two brand-new mutations are now available.

All New Mutations in Fairy Event Part 2

1. Flaming Mutation

  • Source: Phoenix Pet
  • Effect: Every 6:40 minutes, the Phoenix flies between ~4 random fruits, applying the Flaming Mutation. Fruits it passes along the way have about a 20% chance to mutate as well.
  • Benefit: A powerful way to spread mutations across your garden, especially useful for players focused on rare fruit growth and mutation stacking.

2. Luminous Mutation

  • Source: Luminous Sprite Pet
  • Effect: Occasionally, the Luminous Sprite flies to a random fruit and applies the Luminous Mutation.
  • Benefit: Adds a glowing effect to fruits and is likely connected to crafting recipes and progression tied to the Fairy Event.

How to Get These Mutations

  1. Phoenix Pet – Obtainable through Enchanted Chest, Exotic Enchanted Chest, or Rainbow Sack (7%).
  2. Luminous Sprite Pet – Unlocked during Fairy Event Part 2 and functions similarly to Glimmering Sprite in terms of appearance.
  3. Garden Setup – Place high-value fruits in areas where these pets are most likely to travel, increasing your chances of getting these new mutations.

The Fairy Event Part 2 introduces two standout mutations: Flaming and Luminous. Both are tied directly to event-exclusive pets, making them highly desirable for players who want to push their gardens further. If you’re aiming for rare crafting or mutation stacking, prioritize getting the Phoenix and Luminous Sprite as soon as possible in Grow a Garden.
