How to Get Zeref in Anime Rangers X (ARX) Guide

The Fairy Tail Update (6.5) for Anime Rangers X has added several new units, and one of the most exciting is Zeref, the dark wizard from the Fairy Tail universe. Unlike some of the other characters, Zeref is especially tricky to obtain, as he’s locked behind very low drop rates.

Where to Get Zeref

Zeref cannot be obtained from the standard summon pool. Instead, he is only available through the Adventure Portal system. This means you’ll need to grind Adventure Mode and collect portals if you want a shot at him.

• Base Chance: 0.25%

This makes him one of the rarest units in the entire update. Since Adventure Portals guarantee a reward each time, farming them consistently is the only way to stack your chances of pulling Zeref.

How to Get Adventure Portals

Adventure Portals can be earned as rewards in the new Adventure Gamemode. After every 10 waves, you’ll be given the choice to Flee (end the run and take rewards) or Endure (continue with harder enemies but improved drop chances).

• Adventure Portal Base Drop: 20%
• Each Endure doubles the drop rate, making it easier to farm portals.

This means if you want more chances at Zeref, pushing further into Adventure Mode is key.

Best Strategy to Farm Zeref

1. Focus on Portals First Since Zeref is only available through Adventure Portals, your first goal should be farming as many of them as possible.
2. Endure Often Always choose to endure waves if your team is strong enough. The higher you go, the more portals you’ll collect, giving you more rolls at Zeref.
3. Upgrade Natsu and Lucy Their evolutions will make Adventure Mode much easier, letting you survive longer and secure more portals.
4. Grind in Teams Going solo can be tough past 30+ waves. With a strong squad, you can push deeper and maximize your rewards.
