The Fairy Update Part 2 in Roblox Grow a Garden introduces a new currency called Fairy Points, and almost everything in the event revolves around them.
Whether you’re eyeing the Enchanted Chest (which costs a massive 25,000 points) or want seeds from the Fairy Seed Shop, you’ll need thousands of these points.
Grinding them may feel overwhelming at first, but there’s actually a reliable method to maximize your farming. Here’s the full breakdown. Also check out our Grow a Garden Codes and Grow a Garden Animals Tier List for new players.
Why Fairy Points Matter
Fairy Points are essential for unlocking items in the Fairy Update, from chests to rare plants like Pixie Ferns and Untold Bells. Without a steady source of points, you’ll struggle to afford the new rewards. That’s why finding the fastest method to farm them is crucial if you want to progress quickly.
Step 1 – Max Out Your Upgrades
Before diving into farming, make sure your main island upgrades are maxed out. The most important ones are:
- Roaming Fairy Spawn Rate – increases the number of fairies that appear.
- Fairy Spawn Amount – boosts the total fairies you can interact with.
- Fairy Event Duration – optional, but more time means more chances to collect.
These upgrades make farming smoother and directly affect how many Fairy Points you can collect.
Step 2 – Methods to Farm Fairy Points

There are two main ways to get Fairy Points:
1. Collecting in the Fairy World
- Clicking wandering fairies gives you 100 points each.
- Claiming Fairy Orbs in parkour sections grants around 500 points.
- Random rewards like mutation sprays and fairy nets can also drop.
This method works but is inconsistent. Since you only get about 10 minutes inside the Fairy World, the overall yield isn’t enough for large purchases.
2. Using the Fountain Quest (Best Method)
The most efficient way to farm Fairy Points is through the Fountain Event on the main island.
- Offer the requested plants (e.g., tomatoes, daffodils, or Sunbulbs).
- Prioritize plants with the Glimmering Mutation, as the fountain specifically requires them.
- You can offer all glimmering plants in bulk for a quick payout.
Rewards start at 1,000 Fairy Points for early levels and go up to 2,000 points or more as you climb. On top of that, you can also choose Fairy Points as a direct reward, stacking even more gains.
Tip: Most requested plants come from Tier 1 seeds in the shop, so they’re easy to prepare. Magical crops like Sunbulbs may also appear, so keep a stock ready.
Step 3 – Optimize with Sprites and Mutations
To speed things up:
- Use the Glimmering Sprite, which helps spread the glimmering mutation to your crops.
- Keep high-value plants (like Elephant Ears) mutated for larger fountain payouts.
- Always reset and repeat the fountain quest once you’ve completed all five levels.
Farming Fairy Points in Grow a Garden can feel like a grind, but the Fountain Quest method makes it much more efficient. While roaming fairies and Fairy World orbs are nice extras, the fountain gives the best consistent results.
Until the developers adjust shop prices, this strategy will be your best bet to afford rare items in the Fairy Update. If you’re serious about collecting everything this event has to offer, start building up your glimmering crops and prioritize the fountain every session. It’s the fastest way to stack Fairy Points right now.
