Anime Crusaders is one of the newest anime tower defense games on Roblox, and like many fresh releases, new players often wonder how to progress quickly. From earning gems, farming rerolls, to knowing which units to prioritize, getting a strong start makes all the difference.
This guide will cover everything beginners need to know — including gem farming, rerolls, divine stones, and a basic tier list of the best units to aim for. Check out our Anime Crusader Codes & Anime Crusader Tier List.
How to Get Gems Fast
Gems are the most important resource in Anime Crusaders since they let you summon units. The two main ways to farm gems are:
- Infinite Mode – The best gem farming method. Running Infinite can give you hundreds of gems per session. For example, around 600 gems can be earned in just 12–15 minutes by reaching Wave 50+.
- Story Mode AFK – This gives about 20 gems every 3 minutes, but the rate is much slower compared to Infinite.
Tip: Start with story mode to unlock Infinite, then shift to Infinite runs for consistent gem farming.
How to Get Rerolls
Rerolls allow you to change unit traits, but they’re harder to get compared to gems. Here are the beginner-friendly ways to earn rerolls:
- Daily Challenges – Grants rerolls regularly. Completing them is essential.
- Codes – New codes often reward rerolls or gems. Always redeem them in-game.
- Verification Rewards – By joining and following the dev’s community, you can claim extra bonuses.
- Summoning Banner – Some rerolls can drop while summoning.
- Shop Purchases – If you’re okay with spending Robux, rerolls can be bought.
Note: Events like the Monarch Event offer rerolls in bulk, but they’re late-game and not beginner-friendly.
Divine Stones & Essence Stones
Divine Stones are needed for evolutions and relic crafting. Beginners can get them by:
- Legend Stages – Farming these stages gives relic materials and divine stones passively.
- Challenges – Best source for divine stones overall.
- Gold Shop – Check the shop often since divine stones are sometimes sold there.
Beginner Tier List Best Units to Aim For
Here’s a breakdown of strong units to target early:
- Chonin (Gon) – Top-tier hill unit, obtainable from the special banner. Very valuable for air support.
- Goku – Another reliable hill unit. Air units are tough to deal with, so having a strong hill carry is essential.
- Shadow – One of the best units in the game, but rare (1/5,000 chance from the banner). Worth aiming for if you farm gems.
- Sung Jin-Woo – Extremely strong ground DPS unit, found in the event banner with a pity system.
- Broley – Secret rarity unit with 1/50,000 odds. Strong but very hard to obtain.
Support Units:
- Speedcart – Only farm unit in the game, a must-pick for gem farming.
- Ai – Reduces unit costs, very helpful in long runs.
- Gojo & Shanks – Great stunners and time-stop units for crowd control.
Other notable units:
- Enel (Hybrid) – Decent hybrid unit, not as strong as top options.
- Koji – Only unit with bleed effect, useful against regen enemies.
- Buu – Strong ground AoE damage.
Other Beginner Tips
- Use Codes Regularly – Developers release codes often for rerolls, gems, and boosts.
- Index Rewards – Completing the unit index grants gems, though it may be buggy at times.
- Battle Pass – Free rewards over time, including units and resources.
- AFK Chamber – Passive gem farming, though slower than playing Infinite.
- Bundles – If you plan to spend Robux, starter bundles are the best value.
Starting strong in Anime Crusaders is all about farming gems in Infinite Mode, using rerolls wisely, and aiming for key beginner-friendly units like Chonin, Goku, and Speedcart. Once you build a solid team, you’ll be ready to tackle harder stages, evolve your units, and eventually work toward endgame content like Monarch events and secret units. Stick with the basics, focus on gem farming, and you’ll progress quickly.
