The Anime Vanguards 8.5 update has arrived, and with it comes a lineup of four powerful new units. Each one has its own unique role, variants, and method of obtaining. If you’re wondering where to find them all, this guide breaks down every detail so you don’t miss out. Check out the unit Tier List in Anime Vanguards and our Codes for new players!

All New Units in Update 8.5

1. Brolzi Super (Awakened & Wrathful)

  • Where to Get: Vanguard Quest
  • Variants: Normal and Shiny

Brolzi Super has been introduced with multiple evolutions, including Awakened and Wrathful forms. Both can be unlocked through the Vanguard Quest, making it a must-play area for collectors and fighters alike.

2. Lord Friezo (Normal & Emperor)

  • Where to Get: Special Banner
  • Variants: Normal and Shiny

Lord Friezo makes his debut through the Special Banner, which means you’ll need to pull for him using your saved-up gems. He also comes with an Emperor evolution, making him a strong long-term unit to invest in.

3. Rogita (Normal & Fused)

  • Where to Get: Frozen Volcano Dungeon Drop
  • Variants: Normal and Shiny

Rogita is a dungeon-exclusive unit tied to the brand-new Frozen Volcano Dungeon. Defeating enemies here gives you a 20% chance to obtain Rogita—but only if you bring Lord Friezo equipped. This makes him one of the more challenging but rewarding additions.

4. Wolf (Resurrection)

  • Where to Get: Worldlines Floor 50 Reward
  • Variants: Normal and Shiny

Replacing Monkey King as the new Worldlines Floor 50 reward, Wolf (Resurrection) is now the top-tier milestone unit. Clearing to Floor 50 will not only unlock this character but also give access to floor-based rewards like rerolls and materials.

The Anime Vanguards 8.5 update brings a strong mix of quest-based, banner, dungeon, and milestone units. Whether you’re grinding the Vanguard Quest, pulling from banners, farming the Frozen Volcano Dungeon, or pushing through Worldlines, there’s plenty of content to chase.

If you’re aiming for all four, make sure you balance your resources between gems for Lord Friezo, team strength for the dungeon, and time for Worldlines progression. This way, you’ll be able to unlock every new unit before the next season rolls in.
