The latest update in Anime Vanguards introduces the powerful Vanguard Broly, and players can unlock him through a multi-step quest chain. While the process takes time, it’s straightforward once you know the exact steps. This guide will walk you through everything you need to do to get Broly without confusion.
Step 1 – Start the Quest in Frozen Volcano
Head over to the Frozen Volcano Dungeon. Inside, you’ll find a remote item that starts the Broly questline. Once obtained, your first objective will appear.
Step 2 – Collect the Required Units
You’ll need three specific units:
- Roa
- Frieza
- Goku Super Three Gogeta
Both Goku Super Three and Frieza can be pulled from the current banner. Getting Gogeta is trickier:
- Summon Frieza.
- Evolve him.
- Put him as the only unit in your team.
- Run the dungeon solo for a 20% chance to unlock Gogeta.
Once you secure all three units, evolve them to progress the quest.
Step 3 – Stage Two: Dungeon Runs
The second stage requires you to complete 10–15 Frozen Volcano runs. These are standard clears, so gather a team or grind solo depending on your build.
Step 4 – Unit Sacrifice Quest
Next, you’ll get a mission that asks you to sacrifice certain units. While details may vary, prepare extra units you don’t mind giving up.
Step 5 – Defeat Frieza Multiple Times
Another quest will appear requiring you to defeat 10 Friezas. Keep running the dungeon until you hit this requirement.
Step 6 – Save Broly in the Dungeon
The final step is the most important. Enter the Frozen Volcano Dungeon again and progress as usual by collecting all seven Dragon Balls. Once the map transitions into a red volcanic state, a prompt will appear to Save Broly. Activate it, and the quest will finish.
Final Reward – Unlock Broly
After completing all quests, you’ll receive the evolution item required to unlock Broly as a Vanguard.
While unlocking Broly is a time-consuming grind, it’s not overly complicated.
