Step 1 – Prepare for the Journey
Before attempting the Crimson Cavern, make sure you have:

Step 2 – Access Luminescent Caverns
Crimson Cavern is only accessible after entering the Luminescent Caverns. To get there:
- Start at Desolate Deep.

- Collect the three keystones that correspond to your pedestals. You only need your assigned three out of the nine possible keystones.
- Place each keystone in its matching pedestal. Once all three are placed, a crack in the wall will open, leading to the Mysterious River.

Step 3 – Complete the Mutated Dragon Quest
Once inside Luminescent Caverns, look for the NPC that gives the “A Mutated Dragon” quest. This quest requires capturing a Crimson Mutated Colossal Blue Dragon. Key points:
- The Colossal Blue Dragon is an exotic fish, similar to the Depths hunt mechanics.
- Wait for a hunt to occur inside Luminescent Caverns. The dragon will spawn in the water, usually in the corner near the initial entry area.
- Catch the Crimson Mutated Colossal Blue Dragon and deliver it to the quest-giving NPC.
Completing this quest will unlock the entrance to Crimson Cavern.
Step 4 – Exploring Crimson Cavern
Inside Crimson Cavern, you’ll find:
- New NPCs with quests, including one asking you to collect eight crystals.
