The September 24 update for Cookie Run: Kingdom is shaping up to be one of the biggest patches of the year. Devsisters shared details during their latest livestream, and players now know what’s coming in the Silent Salt Cookie update, which leads into the game’s 5th Anniversary celebration with Dark Enchantress. With just days left before it drops, here’s everything you need to know and how to get ready.

Silent Salt Cookie – The Final Beast Cookie

Silent Salt Cookie is confirmed as the final Beast Cookie. He’s an Ambush frontliner with a dual element kit: Dark and Steel. Since both elements are already obtainable through Monster Menace chests and certain episodes, now’s the time to farm them.

  • Dark Element: Found mainly in Episodes 3 and 4.
  • Steel Element: Found in Episodes 9 and 10.

Because Silent Salt is Ambush type, prepping Ambush biscuits with damage resist bypass sub-stats will give you an edge in Arena battles, much like with Black Pearl.

Auto Reroll Feature for Biscuits

September’s update also brings a huge quality-of-life change: an auto reroll system for biscuits. Players can preset their desired stats, and the game will roll until those results appear. If you’ve been hoarding biscuit dough, consider saving it until this feature goes live.

New Cookie – Charcoal Cookie

After the Seltzer and Mento banner ends, a new Epic, Charcoal Cookie, will join the game. Charcoal is a Magic Cookie with a Dark element, designed mainly for PvE content. He will likely play a big role in the upcoming Beast Raid mode. Don’t forget to select the powder you need from Today’s Bounty to get ahead on upgrading his skill.

Grass Element Arrives

A brand-new element is being added: Grass. White Lily Cookie will gain Grass as a new element, alongside other cookies like Green Tea Moose (via Magic Candy) and Silver Bell. More cookies may be added in future patches, though Herb hasn’t been confirmed yet. For now, focus on Dark and Steel farming, since Grass element materials won’t be available until the patch hits.

What to Farm Before the Update

To stay prepared, focus your resources on the following:

  • Ambush Powders & Magic Powders
  • EXP Star Jellies
  • Ambush biscuits with damage resist bypass
  • Dark and Steel element biscuits
  • Juicy Stamina Jellies (farm via Starlight Island missions)

These will ensure you’re ready for Silent Salt and Charcoal Cookie.

New Challenge Mode – Episode 11

A challenge mode is coming to Episode 11, and likely Episode 12 later. This mode lets players adjust difficulty by tweaking enemy HP, attack speed, and damage output. Expect this to be a key farming and testing ground for high-level players.

Coupon Code – Don’t Miss It

The livestream also revealed a new code: SPECIALONAIR. Redeem it for a big reward—extra crystals and 4,500 Rainbow Cubes. And check out other Cookie Run Kingdom Codes list for more rewards.

Looking Ahead – Legendary Costumes and More

The legendary banner for White Lily and Silent Salt Cookie won’t arrive until October, giving everyone a month to save Rainbow Cubes. These costumes line up with Halloween and are must-pulls for both Arena use and collectors.

But that’s not all—here’s what’s planned through the end of 2025:

  • Millennial Tree Cookie and Chess Choker Cookie
  • Win Archer Crystal Jam
  • 2 new legendary costumes in October and December
  • A November collaboration event

The roadmap is stacked, so resource management is more important than ever.

The Silent Salt update is much more than just a new cookie—it introduces new systems, elements, and long-term plans for Cookie Run: Kingdom. With the fifth anniversary and Dark Enchantress on the horizon, this is the perfect time to start farming, saving resources, and planning pulls wisely. Make sure to redeem the coupon, stock up on materials, and get ready—this update is going to set the stage for the rest of the year.
