Verse Piece has released a big update featuring two new melee specs inspired by Dragon Ball: Super Saiyan Blue (SSJB) Goku and Hit. This is the first melee update in a while, and both characters come with unique questlines and challenging requirements. Here’s a full guide on how to unlock and use them. How to Get Hit in Verse Piece

Verse Piece GOKU SSJB & HIT Guide, How to Obtain!

To unlock Hit, you’ll need to head over to Arena Island and speak to the Hit NPC. He will give you a series of quests that need to be completed in order:

  1. Defeat 500 mobs – A straightforward but grind-heavy task.
  2. Defeat 50 Lost Island bosses – Stronger enemies that will take time to farm.
  3. Defeat the Goku boss 100 times – This is the longest part of the grind.

Each time you complete a quest, return to the NPC to unlock the next step. After finishing the final quest, you’ll receive the Hit spec.

Hit’s moveset is built around speed and mobility, making him great for dodging and quick counterattacks. Even without an optimized strength build, his abilities feel smooth and enjoyable to use in battle.

How to Get Super Saiyan Blue Goku

Verse Piece GOKU SSJB & HIT Guide, How to Obtain!

Unlocking Goku SSJB is much more complicated compared to Hit. You’ll need to do the following:

  1. Craft Dungeon Tickets – These are required to access the new dungeon on Blacksmith Island.
  2. Enter the Dungeon – The dungeon consists of only one wave: a fight against the Goku boss.

The dungeon has several possible drops:

  • Super Saiyan Blue Form – 3% drop chance
  • Kaio-Ken Technique – 1% drop chance
  • Goku Wis Accessory – 3% drop chance
  • Dragon Ball – 5% drop chance

To fully unlock the SSJB Goku spec, you’ll need 150 SSJB Forms in total, which means farming the dungeon many times due to the low drop rate. The Kaio-Ken Technique is especially rare at only 1% and unlocks additional moves, but it is not tradable. Even buying the Goku game pass won’t unlock Kaio-Ken, so the grind is unavoidable.

Between the two, Hit is much more accessible, requiring heavy grinding but no RNG luck. Super Saiyan Blue Goku, on the other hand, demands patience and persistence due to the extremely low drop chances and high requirements. If you enjoy fast-paced melee combat, Hit is a solid addition to your roster.

But if you’re up for a real challenge and don’t mind farming endlessly, then unlocking Goku SSJB with Kaio-Ken might be worth the effort. This update may feel frustrating for some due to the difficulty and grind, but it definitely adds depth for players who enjoy long-term goals in Verse Piece.
