99 Nights in the Forest Guide, How to Survive The Ram!

The Ram is one of the most dangerous creatures in 99 Nights in the Forest. Unlike other enemies, it combines speed, aggression, and destructive power, making nighttime survival even harder. If you’ve seen the message “The Ram has woken up”, then you know trouble is coming. Here’s everything you need to know about its awakening, encounters, and spawn areas. When the Ram Appears?

At the start of a night, there’s a chance that a short scene involving The Ram will play. Afterward, the message “The Ram has woken up” appears on the screen.

Once this happens, The Ram becomes active and can spawn during the night. Important details about its appearance:

  • If The Ram spawns, The Deer will not appear that night.
  • However, during a Cultist Attack, it is still possible for both threats to show up.

How the Ram Attacks

The Ram’s behavior is similar to The Deer, but far more aggressive:

  • Chasing the Player – The Ram will lock onto players and pursue them relentlessly.
  • Charge Attack – Occasionally, it will stop moving, and a rising meter appears above it. Once the meter fills, The Ram will charge forward at high speed.
  • Destructive Force – While charging, it destroys trees and deals massive damage to any player in its path.
  • Unpredictable Direction – The direction it faces while stopping does not guarantee the direction it will charge.

Can The Ram Be Killed?

No. Just like The Deer and The Owl, The Ram cannot be killed with any weapon or item.

How to Survive the Ram’s Charge

  • Move Sideways – The Ram has a poor turning radius while charging, so dodging to the left or right is the safest strategy.
  • Use Flashlight Wisely – A flashlight can stun The Ram only when it is walking, not while charging.
  • Stay Mobile – Standing still makes you an easy target. Keep moving to reduce the chance of being caught.

Where Does The Ram Spawn?

The Ram can spawn in specific biomes at night. Currently, it appears in:

  • Volcanic Biome – At night.
  • The Forest – At night.

If you’re traveling through either of these regions after dark, stay alert—the Ram could spawn at any moment.

The Ram is one of the most terrifying enemies in 99 Nights in the Forest, combining speed and raw strength with an unpredictable charge. While it cannot be killed, survival is possible if you learn its attack patterns and use dodging effectively. Keep your flashlight handy, stay on the move, and always be prepared once you see the message “The Ram has woken up.”
