Crafting the Quantum Drone
Once you’ve unlocked the blueprint, you can craft drones at the Fabricator. The recipe requires:
- Flutter Plorts
- Lava Dust
- Wild Honey
- Strange Diamonds
- Drone Module
- Newbucks (in-game currency)
Each module you collect unlocks the ability to craft one more drone, so you’ll want to gather several if you plan to expand automation across your ranch.
How to Use Quantum Drones
After crafting, place the Quantum Drone Station wherever you want it to operate. You can program drones to perform specific tasks, such as:
- Collecting plorts from collectors and selling them at the Plort Market
- Gathering specific resources like jelly stone or rare materials from weather events
- Feeding slimes with a set food type (though they can only handle one type at a time)
Each drone has a battery meter, and once it drains, the drone will stop working until recharged. You can also move and reposition the drone station to adjust where they operate.
Interestingly, Quantum Drones also work outside your ranch. When placed in the wild, they scan within their dome range and collect resources tied to that region.
