The Takeover Event has landed in Slap Battles, and one of the biggest rewards you can unlock is the brand-new Paint Glove. To get it, you’ll need to complete a set of challenges inside the special Splat Battles mode. This guide will walk you through every step so you can claim the Paint Glove without missing anything.
How to Obtain Paint After Takeover Event:
- Step 1: Find Hitman’s Hatch Start by heading to Hitman’s hatch in the main Slap Battles map. This is the entry point to the event-related content.
- Step 2: Climb the Ladder Inside the hatch, climb the ladder until you reach a platform decorated with graffitis on the wall.
- Step 3: Interact with the Graffitis Walk up to the graffiti wall and interact with it. Doing this will teleport you into a new game mode called Splat Battles.
- Step 4: Play Splat Battles Once inside, you’ll be given a choice of Splat Battles gloves. Pick one, and then battle against waves of bots. Your goal is to win a round in this mode.
- Step 5: Claim the Reward After your victory, you’ll automatically be teleported back to the main Slap Battles game. You’ll receive the Color Splash badge, and with it, unlock the Paint Glove.
How to Start the Paint Glove Quest
- Head to The Takeover Event Portal in Slap Battles.
- Enter the portal and choose Splat Battles (Regular) mode.
- You can play solo or invite a friend to join.
Once you’re inside, you’ll see a countdown timer at the top and the list of challenges you need to complete to unlock the Paint Glove.
All Challenges for the Paint Glove
To earn the Color Splash Badge (required to unlock the Paint Glove), you must complete the following tasks:
1. Cover 35,000 Studs in Paint
- Grab your roller ability and start painting as much as possible.
- The roller is the best choice since it covers more ground quickly.
- Focus on spreading your paint everywhere you can until you hit 35,000 studs.
2. Win 2 Games of Splat Battles
- After painting, the next goal is to win two full matches.
- This step can be tricky if you’re stuck with a weak team, so teamwork is key.
- Try playing with friends or coordinating strategies to secure faster wins.
3. Win the Splat Battle Championship
- This final stage unlocks only after you finish the first two challenges.
- Compete in the championship round and secure a win.
- Winning here will officially grant you the Paint Glove as your reward.
