Fish It Luck Totem, How to Get & Use?

The game Fish It has introduced a new feature that goes beyond the usual potions—Totems. These special items can give players powerful boosts to improve their fishing runs. Right now, there’s only one Totem available in the game, called the Luck Totem. In this guide, we’ll explain how to get it, how it works, and whether it’s worth adding to your setup.

How to Get the Luck Totem in Fish It

The Luck Totem can only be bought from the Traveling Merchant. You’ll find his boat docked on the beach at Fisherman Island, right next to the Wheel. Despite the name, this merchant doesn’t actually move around, so you can always find him in the same spot.

However, his shop inventory rotates, meaning the Luck Totem won’t always be available. To get around this, you have three options:

  1. Wait for the shop to refresh naturally.
  2. Force-refresh the shop for the entire server, which costs 49 Robux.
  3. Server hop until you land on one where the Totem is in stock.

Once you do find it, be ready to spend 2 million coins, since that’s the price tag for this item.

What Is the Luck Totem?

The Luck Totem is designed to boost your fishing chances. When placed, it increases the luck of all players within its range by 100% for 30 minutes. That makes it a valuable item when you’re chasing rare catches or trying to maximize rewards.

You can put the Totem on your boat, but there’s a catch—if the waters are rough or you’re unlucky, it may fall off. Because of this risk, most players prefer placing it on solid ground, like one of the islands, to avoid losing it mid-session.

At a steep 2M coin cost, the Luck Totem isn’t cheap. Still, the boosted luck makes it extremely useful for rare fish hunting, especially when playing with friends since the effect applies to everyone nearby. If you’re serious about progressing in Fish It, this item is definitely worth picking up once you have the coins to spare.
