The October 2025 PVP tier list for Cookie Run Kingdom introduces some exciting new shifts in the competitive scene. While there have been updates with the addition of two new cookies, Silent Salt and Charcoal Tier List, the overall Arena meta remains quite consistent with some minor tweaks. In this guide, we will go over the updated tier list, discuss the best cookies to use, and highlight those that have dropped out of favor.
Chess Choco CRK – Are They Good?
Chess Choco in Cookie Run Kingdom is good, but very situational: she excels as a boss-slayer in world exploration stages thanks to her powerful Checkmate combo debuff that reduces enemies’ attack and defense, increases damage taken, and even stuns — making her especially strong against tough bosses.
- S-Tier for PVE Content
However, she’s not great for Arena because as a bomber-type cookie she has low survivability, and her full potential requires multiple skill casts. If you don’t already have a comparable debuff cookie like Lindsor and you want to beat difficult PvE content, Chess Choco is definitely worth building — but she’s not a must-have for all players.

- Dawnbringer White Lily Cookie easily dominates the meta due to her control, survivability, and synergy with buffer cookies. – SS-Tier
- Salt Cellar Cookie remains a valuable support pick, but she can’t outshine Lily’s sheer impact in top-tier compositions. A-Tier Niche pick

Their skill can be useful in certain team comps, especially for dealing consistent area damage and applying debuffs, but they often get overshadowed by stronger DPS or utility cookies in competitive modes. In short, Grapefruit Cookie can be strong in the right setup, but they aren’t a must-pick for high-level play.
How Good is Manju Cookie?
Manju Cookie is an exceptional burst damage dealer in Cookie Run Kingdom, especially when paired with Jagae Cookie, thanks to their unique synergy that resets his skill cooldown and boosts his survivability. His Flash Strike skill deals massive damage, ignores a portion of enemy defenses, stuns targets, and heals him based on damage dealt, making him both deadly and self-sustaining.
While he performs best in PvP modes like the Arcade Arena due to his quick, repeated attacks, he still needs proper team support to stay alive. With Raspberry toppings to maximize his output, Manju stands out as one of the top-tier ambush cookies for fast-paced, high-damage strategies.
How Good is Marshmallow Bunny Cookie?
Marshmallow Bunny Cookie is a game-changer for support lineups. Her ability to heal, shield, and buff every team member with multiple layers of offensive and defensive buffs sets her apart. While her skill animation is a bit slow, topping her with attack speed helps alleviate this issue. Amplify Buff is a mandatory stat to unlock her true potential, so build accordingly. She is definitely a 1000% must-build cookie for both PvE and PvP content moving forward.

SugarFly – Beast Raid
Sugarfly Cookie is a situational but powerful support unit in Cookie Run Kingdom, designed mainly for the Beast Raid mode where she shines with consistent healing and crit buffs. Her skill, Butterflies’ Whisper, comes with one of the shortest cooldowns in the game and scales entirely on ATK, making a Full Raspberry topping build ideal for maximum healing, though a mix with Swift Chocolate can help with rotation.
In Beast Raids, she counters the Dream debuff, making her a crucial asset alongside cookies like Pitaya Dragon and Hollyberry. While less effective in PvP or Guild Boss fights, she still offers experimental value with crit-based comps. If you’re progressing in Beast Raids, Sugarfly is absolutely worth pulling—especially for her reliable healing, crit boosts, and ease of use.
Awakened Hollyberry Cookie – S-Tier
Awakened Hollyberry Cookie is a top-tier steel-type defender in Cookie Run Kingdom, known for her incredible survivability, protective shields, and team-wide buffs that make her invaluable in both PvE and PvP. Her core skill, Shield of Conviction, allows her to absorb damage for allies while reducing critical damage taken and preventing debuffs, with absorbed damage fueling her transformation into the powerful Steelbound Guardian state.

The best Beascuits focus on HP%, cooldown reduction, and damage resist to keep her skills active and her defenses strong. She works best in steel-focused teams—especially alongside Raspberry Cookie—but also fits well in hybrid comps with strong damage dealers. With her healing trigger and rally buff, she can keep allies alive through heavy pressure, making her a reliable frontliner who excels in high-damage encounters and helps control the pace of battle.
How Good is Eternal Sugar Cookie & Pavlova Cookie?
Eternal Sugar Cookie sits near the top of the current META largely thanks to her powerful debuff toolkit—between her cotton‑candy passive that amplifies your team’s elemental damage, the Saccharin Breeze charm, and the Guilt stacks that cripple attackers, she not only boosts your offense but also punishes enemy aggressors. That combination of offense amplification and crowd control has made her a popular choice for Arena defense teams right now.
Pavlova Cookie, by contrast, is more of a situational pick: her Red Thread stacks and crit buffs are nice, but she lacks the same level of game‑changing utility and durability that Eternal Sugar Cookie provides, leaving her “just okay” in comparison when you’re building around the top end of the META.
CRK Cookie Run Kingdom October 2025 Tier List
Tier Breakdown: D to S
- D Tier (Avoid These Cookies):
- Sonic, Tiger
- These cookies were once in the meta but have been outclassed by newer and more powerful cookies. If you’re looking to climb the ranks in the Arena, it’s best to steer clear of these cookies.
- C Tier (Not the Best Options):
- Chili Pepper, Cherry Blossom
- While these cookies have potential, they don’t quite measure up in the current PVP meta. Consider them lower-tier picks if you have no other options, but there are better choices out there.
- B Tier (Average Performers):
- Milk Cookie, Red
- These cookies can still perform decently in certain situations, but they lack the power or versatility to compete with the top-tier options. They can still be useful in lower ranks like Masters or below.
- A Tier (Solid Choices):
- Candy Apple, BTS
- These cookies offer solid performance in the Arena. While they may not be the absolute best, they can certainly hold their own in most situations, especially with the right toppings and builds.
- S Tier (High-Level Choices):
- HollyBerry, Parfait, White Lily (now moved from SS to S)
- The S-tier cookies are considered high performers. They might not always be the top-tier picks, but they have a strong presence in the Arena. HollyBerry, in particular, is expected to be even stronger once her awakening is released in August 2025, so keep an eye on her.
SS Tier: Top Cookies to Use
- Moonlight, Stormbringer, Mystic Flower, Dark Cacao, Green Tea Moose, Fettuccini, Icicle, Yeti, Snapdragon
- The SS tier is where you’ll find the top cookies for PVP in April 2025. These cookies excel in the Arena and can be relied upon to climb through the ranks.
- Moonlight and Stormbringer are still top-tier, though they require specific comps and are best used with a crystal jam at level 20. Green Tea Moose and Fettuccini are great epic tanks, especially for those without access to top-tier legendary tanks.
- Yeti and Snapdragon offer strong utility, and while they aren’t required to dominate the Arena, they are excellent choices for most teams.
How Good is the Awakening Pure Vanilla?
Pure Vanilla Cookie is a must have for the current META especially for the PVE section, where in the beast yeast it can increase the overall stats. However, there are many other cookie in the current META that actually dominate the PVP section.
How Good is the Shadow Milk Cookie & Candy Apple Cookie?
The Shadow Milk Cookie is definitely one of the META in PVP content, with its power that deal massive damage and definitely in the META Category or OP tier, however the difficulty in obtaining the character is high since it is a new limited unit.
Candy Apple Cookie however is mostly used in the guild battle which is the Red Dragon, however she is quite OP for beginner with S Tier especially with the debuff that she provide. More info regarding the Cookies:
