Garden Tower Defense PvP Update Guide – New Mode, Units, Codes, and More!

Garden Tower Defense has just rolled out one of its most exciting updates yet — the PvP Mode Update 1 of 2! This new patch brings tons of fresh content, new plant units, exclusive rewards, and several performance improvements. Players can now battle each other in an all-new player-versus-player mode while testing their strategies with the latest plants and upgrades.

New PvP Mode Explained

The highlight of this update is the brand-new PvP Mode, where players can face off against friends or other players in competitive garden battles. This is the first part of the PvP update, with more features expected to arrive in Update 2 of 2 next week.

The developers have mentioned they are actively listening to community feedback to refine the experience further. Winning PvP matches now rewards players with exclusive Lawnmower Units in four tiers: Glass, Bronze, Silver, and Gold — all designed to showcase your battle achievements.

All New Units

This update introduces 8 new units, expanding your defensive options and strategies. Several of these units are limited stock and can be obtained through Seeds. Here’s what’s new:

• Rainbow Baby Carrots – A special Admin Abuse Exclusive Unit, colorful and unique.
• Frostshade – A Limited Stock Unit with icy powers, available in the Seeds shop.
• Stickpetal – Another Limited Stock Unit offering strong defense capabilities.
• Gnomatic Saw – A mechanical unit with cutting power, also limited and available via Seeds.

These limited units may not last long, so make sure to grab them before they’re gone.

Quality of Life & Gameplay Changes

The developers have improved various aspects of the game for smoother performance and a better player experience:

• Improved lobby visuals and effects.
• Added new unit and enemy sounds.
• Performance upgrades and bug fixes for a more stable experience.
• Exploit patches and trade issue fixes.
• General gameplay and UI enhancements for better clarity.

While some balancing changes are still being finalized, the team has confirmed multiple unit, UI, and trade bugs have been fixed. Expect further balance adjustments to be published soon in the official balancing section.

Two new codes have been released to celebrate the update. Redeem them in-game for free Seeds:

• PVP – Redeem for 500 Seeds
• FIGHTME – Redeem for 750 Seeds
