How to Get Insect Breathing Rework Weak Legacy 2 Guide!
The Insect Breathing Rework in Weak Legacy 2 has arrived, and it brings three powerful new forms — Bee Mode, Butterfly Mode, and Horsefly Mode. These modes give players unique buffs, flashy visuals, and faster combat potential, making insect breathing one of the most stylish and deadly breathing styles in the game right now. Here’s a full guide on how to unlock each mode, what you’ll need, and how they work. Also check out our Weak Legacy 2 Codes for those interested!
How to Unlock Insect Breathing
- Location: Insect Breathing can be obtained from Shinobu, the Insect Hashira NPC.
Before you can access any of the new modes, you’ll need to have Insect Breathing unlocked. She can be found inside the Slayer Corps area. Once you’ve located her, speak to Shinobu to learn the breathing style. You’ll need some yen and demon horns to unlock it, so make sure you’ve been farming demons beforehand.
How to Unlock Bee Mode
Bee Mode is the first new mode added in the rework. It gives your character improved speed, quick-hit combos, and a glowing bee aura effect. How to Get Bee Mode:
- Talk to Shinobu again to receive the Bee Mode quest.
- You’ll need to gather the following materials: 150 Demon Horns, 500,000 Yen
- Find 3 Bees in the Slayer Corps area. The bees spawn in different places for each player, so you’ll need to search around carefully. They’re usually glowing and easy to spot once you get close.
- Defeat Shinobu two times to complete the quest.
Once you’ve completed all of the above, Bee Mode will be unlocked.
Tip: Bring a strong weapon or party members, as Shinobu can be quite tough to beat twice in a row.
How to Unlock Butterfly Mode
Butterfly Mode comes alongside Bee Mode as part of the rework. You’ll automatically unlock Butterfly Mode once you finish the Bee Mode quest. It’s a more graceful and balanced mode focused on agility and technique. Features of Butterfly Mode:
- Smooth and fast attack animations
- Increased dash speed
- Enhanced poison-based abilities
Butterfly Mode also serves as a base transformation that complements both Bee and Horsefly modes.
How to Unlock Horsefly Mode
Horsefly Mode is the rarest and most powerful transformation in the Insect Breathing rework. Unlike Bee Mode, this one doesn’t have a direct quest — instead, it relies on a drop system. How to Get Horsefly Mode:
- You’ll need to defeat Shinobu repeatedly until Horsefly Mode drops.
- The drop chance is low, so expect to grind several fights before you obtain it.
Tip: Use a private server to farm Shinobu faster, and bring healing items or strong allies to speed up the process.
Once unlocked, Horsefly Mode grants major boosts to damage, agility, and stamina, making it the strongest mode among the three.
The Insect Breathing Rework in Weak Legacy 2 completely upgrades the experience for players who enjoy fast, stylish combat. Whether you’re unlocking Bee Mode for early-game speed or grinding for the rare Horsefly transformation, every mode adds something new and exciting to the mix. If you’re planning to farm for all three, start with Bee Mode to get comfortable with the mechanics, then move toward Horsefly Mode for the ultimate Insect Breathing power-up.
