1. Headless Horseman (Prismatic Pet)

The Headless Horseman is one of the rarest and most mysterious pets in this event. Every ~40 minutes, it haunts a random level 50 pet without mutations, resetting it to level 1 while granting one of four chaotic mutations:

  • Dreadbound: +1.6x XP per second
  • Soulflame: +60% XP boost and a chance to mutate nearby fruits with Burnt or Flaming effects
  • Spectral: +1.22x passive increase and +1.25x size
  • Nightmare (2.04% chance): Major boost to passive ability and larger size
This pet embodies chaos and power — ideal for risk-takers who want unpredictable rewards.

2. Bat (Uncommon Pet)

The Bat supports your garden’s spooky crops. It grants Spooky plants within ~32 studs a 0.7x variant chance bonus, helping you grow unique and rare variants faster. Small in size but big in usefulness, this is a solid support pet for collectors.

3. Bone Dog (Rare Pet)

Every ~76 seconds, the Bone Dog has a 15% chance to dig up a random seed, including exclusive ones only it can uncover. It’s perfect for players who love collecting limited or event-exclusive plants.

4. Spider (Legendary Pet)

The Spider weaves an 18-stud web every 8 minutes. Pets standing on the web get extra cooldown reduction (+1s every second), and nearby plants grow 15s faster every second. It’s one of the best support pets for speeding up your entire garden’s progress.

5. Pumpkin Rat (Uncommon Pet)

The Pumpkin Rat brings creativity to your garden by carving pumpkins. Every 7–10 minutes, it transforms a pumpkin into a random Jack-O-Lantern cosmetic. There are five collectible designs in total — great for decorators and collectors alike.

6. Ghost Bear (Epic Pet)

Every 18–20 minutes, the Ghost Bear uses its “Boo!” ability to scare nearby fruit, applying the Spooky mutation. This pet helps boost your garden’s Halloween theme and offers a steady mutation mechanic for advanced players.

7. Wolf (Epic Pet)

The Wolf is both stylish and functional. Every 4–6 minutes, it howls, mutating fruits within a 20–40 stud radius into Moonlit variants and temporarily turning the player into a Werewolf. During this time, players gain 40–80% movement speed and 80–160% jump height — perfect for fast farming and exploration.

8. Black Cat (Rare Pet)

Every few minutes, the Black Cat visits a Witch’s Cauldron and takes a nap. While it’s resting, new fruits within 10–20 studs become 1–2x larger. It’s a fun and effective way to increase fruit size for better yield.

9. Reaper (Legendary Pet)

The Reaper brings a darker twist to gardening. Every 12–22 minutes, it sacrifices four fruits in your garden to grant a Medium Passive Boost or Medium XP Boost to a random pet. Though costly, the bonus can dramatically improve your pet’s growth and performance.

The Ghoul Garden Update adds some of the most creative pets in Grow a Garden yet — each with a blend of spooky visuals and unique powers that change how players interact with their gardens. Whether you’re boosting XP, speeding up growth, or collecting special variants, these Halloween companions offer plenty of depth and excitement. Make sure to participate before the event ends to add these limited-edition pets to your collection.
