The latest Plants vs Brainrots update brings one of the biggest changes yet — a complete Card System overhaul, new boss fight, daily rewards, and even rebirth improvements that make grinding smoother than ever. Whether you’re a returning player or new to the chaos, this guide covers everything added in the new Decked Out Update.

New Card System Explained

Plants vs Brainrots Cards Update Guide, New Card System, Codes, Boss, and More!

The main feature of this update is the Card System, which introduces collectible cards that come with their own unique abilities. There are over 35 cards to collect, each ranging from Tier I to Tier V. Higher tiers unlock stronger effects, making them essential for late-game play.

Cards are now equipped through a new slot device on your plot, replacing the old fuse machine. You start with 1 slot, and gain more as you rebirth, up to 5 slots at Rebirth 5. You can also find Shiny Cards, which feature boosted visuals and higher rarity.

Card Packs and Merging

You can now earn Card Packs from quests and rebirths. Each pack gives random cards, with a small chance of pulling a Shiny or higher-tier version. Duplicate cards aren’t wasted — they can be merged using the Card Merge Machine on the central island. Combining multiple cards of the same tier creates one card of the next tier, with upgraded stats, visuals, and effects.

For easy tracking, the Card Viewer Tool lets you browse all your cards, view their abilities, and check rarity without leaving your inventory.

Daily Rewards and Hitlist Event

Daily activity is now more rewarding. The new Daily Reward System asks players to place four specific brainrots on the reward podium to claim prizes. The required brainrots rotate daily, so make sure to check which ones are needed before hunting. Completing your daily streak unlocks special limited-time rewards.

The Hitlist Event also adds a new gameplay layer. You’ll receive missions to defeat certain brainrots — each one progresses your reward track, offering increasing prizes. Completing the full board grants exclusive event bonuses.

Rebirth System Changes

Rebirthing has been adjusted to make progress feel fairer. Your required brainrots will now stay in your inventory after rebirth, so you won’t lose them anymore. Players who rebirthed before this update will retroactively receive the card rewards they missed. Some rebirth tiers have also been rebalanced with new brainrot requirements.

New Boss: Cerberinno Hotdoggino

A fiery new boss has arrived — Cerberinno Hotdoggino, a three-headed infernal beast guarding the gates of the underworld. Expect an intense fight, with unique rewards tied to this powerful opponent.

Gear and Item Updates

Two pieces of gear got major buffs this patch:

  • Handcuffs: Stun duration increased from 3.5s → 20s
  • Taser: Stun duration increased from 5s → 15s

Meanwhile, the Fuse Machine has been moved to the Event Island, and Luck has been increased from 15x → 17x, improving your odds during events and crafting.

New Brainrots and Seeds

New brainrot additions include:

  • Pesto Mortioni – A suited pestle-and-mortar enforcer
  • Bottellini – A plastic bottle with a backpack
  • Lemowzio – Lemon Cat, found in the fuse machine
  • Luis Traffico – A car with an Italian flair
  • Meowzio Sushlini – Sushi Cat
  • Rinoccio Verdini – Furious rhino

New seeds have also been introduced:

  • King Limone – The ruler of lemons
  • Tomade Torelli – A “connected” tomato

Additionally, the following brainrots have been optimized: Cocotanko Giraffanto, 67, Brr brr patapim, Pipi Kiwi, Bambini Crostini, Gattolini Owlini, Bredda Ratto, and Crazylone Pizaione. The Pumpkin and Watermelon plants have been reworked for better balance and design.

The Decked Out Update truly reshapes Plants vs Brainrots with its deep card mechanics, better progression system, and new boss challenges. From shiny card hunts to daily events, there’s more reason than ever to dive back in and build your ultimate deck. Keep an eye out for upcoming codes and bonus events — they might help you pull that Tier V card you’ve been chasing!
