The long-awaited A Universal Time (AUT) Update 5.3 has arrived, introducing two brand-new Legendary abilities: Dragon and Mad Dog. Alongside new NPCs, areas, items, and premium shop additions, this update brings one of the biggest content drops in AUT history. New Abilities in AUT 5.3
1. Dragon (Legendary)
The Dragon of Dojima finally enters AUT. Inspired by the legendary Tojo Clan’s 4th Chairman, this ability lets players harness powerful melee combos and disciplined combat styles.
How to Get Dragon:
- Talk to Sotaro Komaki (Champion District) while Standless.
- Complete the “Dragon” quest, which includes four revelations: Fists of Fury, Bicycle Mayhem, Dragon of Dojima, Dragon Kick
- Defeat Komaki’s Pupils until you collect: Scroll of Remembrance, Scroll of Fist Reversal, Scroll of Resurgence
- Fight and defeat Sotaro Komaki himself to earn the Scroll of The Dragon.
- Use the scroll on your Standless to obtain Dragon.
Dragon Mastery Guide: Once you’ve obtained Dragon and reached Ascension 1, return to Komaki to unlock new mastery ranks by completing his quests.
- Mastery 1: Essence of Sumo Slap
- Mastery 2: Triple Rush Attack Finishers
- Mastery 3: Dragon of Dojima ‘88
- Mastery 4: Tiger Drop
Each time you defeat Komaki, he becomes stronger, using moves from your unlocked list.
2. Mad Dog (Legendary)
Known as the Mad Dog of Shimano, this chaotic brawler fights with unpredictable speed and aggression, making him a thrilling counterpart to Dragon.
How to Get Mad Dog:
- Talk to Homare Nishitani (Champion District) while Standless.
- Find the Mysterious Dagger from chests and bring it to him.
- Defeat 15 players using Standless (2.5-minute cooldown per player).
- Eliminate 15 Thugs and 15 Hooligans with Standless.
- Defeat Homare Nishitani in combat.
- Talk to him again to receive the Demonfire Dagger.
- Use the dagger on Standless to unlock Mad Dog.
Mad Dog Mastery Guide: After Ascension 1, return to Nishitani for mastery progression:
- Defeat 5 players with Mad Dog (2.5-minute cooldown per player).
- Defeat Homare again to gain +1 Mastery.
