The spooky season has arrived in Grow a Garden, and with it comes the Ghoul Garden Halloween Event — a limited-time celebration filled with exclusive rewards, pets, seeds, and decorations. The main event currency this time is Candy Corn, which you can collect and exchange for Halloween-themed items. Here’s a full guide on how to earn Candy Corn quickly and what you can buy with it before the event ends. Check out our Grow a Garden Codes and Grow a Garden Animals Tier List.

How to Get Candy Corn in Grow a Garden

There are two main ways to collect Candy Corn during the Halloween event:

1. Witch’s Cauldron (Main Method)

The Witch NPC, located in the center of the main lobby, is your primary source for Candy Corn. You’ll earn Candy Corn by offering your harvested crops or fruits to her cauldron.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Harvest plants or fruits from your garden.
  2. Go to the Witch in the main lobby.
  3. Choose one of the two options: Submit Held Plant: Donate the crop you’re currently holding. Submit All Fruit: Donate all fruits from your inventory.
  4. Fill the Cauldron to 100% to earn rewards.

Possible Rewards from the Cauldron:

  • Guaranteed: Candy Corn
  • Low Chance: Spooky Egg
  • Low Chance: Pumpkin Crate

Your total Candy Corn earnings depend on your contribution ranking in the Cauldron leaderboard — the higher your score, the greater the reward.

Points Based on Crop Rarity:

  • Common – 1 point
  • Uncommon – 2 points
  • Rare – 3 points
  • Legendary – 4 points
  • Mythical – 5 points
  • Divine – 6 points
  • Prismatic – 7 points
  • Transcendent – 8 points

To progress faster, always submit higher rarity crops, as they fill the Cauldron more efficiently and give better rewards.

2. Jack-O-Lantern NPC (Bonus Candy Corn)

The Jack-O-Lantern NPC spawns next to the Witch every 2 hours, but only stays for 5 minutes. This NPC offers a risk-reward mini-event where you can earn bonus Candy Corn.

How it works:

  1. Wait for the Jack-O-Lantern to appear beside the Witch.
  2. Hold a fruit or crop from your inventory.
  3. Interact with the NPC and donate your item.
  4. Receive either a “Trick” or “Treat.”

Possible Outcomes:

  • Treat: Candy Corn or rare items like Spooky Egg.
  • Trick: No reward.

Note: Jack-O-Lantern only accepts Halloween-themed crops or those with Ghostly or Spooky Mutations.

  • Use high-rarity crops to earn more points and rank higher on the leaderboard.
  • Don’t miss the Jack-O-Lantern NPC appearances for extra Candy Corn and a chance at rare event items.
  • Visit the Halloween Market frequently to grab limited items before they rotate out.

The Ghoul Garden Halloween Event turns Grow a Garden into a festive farming adventure, rewarding active players with rare crops, pets, and decorations. Whether you’re farming through the Witch’s Cauldron or taking your chances with the Jack-O-Lantern, Candy Corn is your key to unlocking everything this event has to offer. Make sure to farm efficiently and spend wisely at the Halloween Market before the event ends — because once Halloween is over, these exclusive rewards may never return.
