Ghoul Garden Part 2 Update in Grow a Garden Guide!

The spooky season continues in Grow a Garden with the arrival of the Ghoul Garden Part 2 Update, bringing new pets, seeds, gear, and a unique event rotation between the Dead Tree and Witch NPCs. This guide will walk you through everything included in the update — from how to earn the new Weeping Branch seed to discovering all the pets, rewards, and limited-time Halloween gear.

Dead Tree NPC and Event Rotation

One of the biggest additions in Part 2 is the Dead Tree NPC, which alternates every two hours with the Witch. This means:

  • The Dead Tree appears for 2 hours.
  • Then the Witch returns for another 2 hours, and so on.

The Dead Tree offers a series of tasks and quests that change over time. Completing them rewards you with:

  • Suspicious Stew
  • Spooky Crates
  • Halloween Gear Boxes
  • And the Weeping Branch (a rare 0.5% drop)

The Weeping Branch is a new seed that mutates nearby plants from Wilted → Withered → Desolate. Each mutation stage changes the plant’s appearance and value, though getting this seed requires a lot of patience.

Gravedigger Minigame

When the Witch returns, the Gravedigger NPC also reappears with a digging minigame.

  • You start with 10 shovels, and gain 1 every 5 minutes.
  • You can also buy more for 59 Robux (5 shovels).
  • Digging can uncover rewards like Spooky Eggs, Crows, Zombie Fruits, and other rare items.

Tip: Save your shovels for areas that seem to have buried treasure to maximize your rewards.

Halloween Market & New Gear

The Halloween Market is back with the Ghostly Gadget Store, which includes:

  • Halloween Gear Box (contains exclusive Halloween tools)
  • Halloween Radar – Scans and collects Halloween-mutation fruits.
  • Suspicious Soup – Grants random effects (positive or negative).
  • Witch’s Broom – Lets you fly around your garden temporarily.

New Gear Items:

  • Bland Jelly – Gives your pet +40 XP.
  • Jack O’ Jelly – Gives +100 XP.
  • Pumpkin Lollipop – Levels up Halloween pets only.
  • Dig Trinket – Adds +1 extra dig for your Gravedigger event.
  • Toffee Tether – Adds a Tethered mutation to your pet, allowing it to follow you around.

All New Pets in the Update

The update adds several new Halloween pets, each with their own quirks:

  1. Goat – Rams random players every 7 minutes, knocking them back.
  2. Dark Spriggan – Every 22 minutes, spreads roots that give fruits a 15% Blight mutation chance.
  3. Crow – Boosts the growth speed of nearby spooky plants by 1.5x.
  4. Goblin – Picks up random players and carries them to you (purely comedic).
  5. Hex Serpent – Performs rituals every 12 minutes when placed in a Hex Circle, consuming 5 plants for random rewards (2% spawn chance).
  6. Ghostly Dark Spriggan – Premium pet from the Twilight Pack. It gives both Blight and Necrotic mutations to nearby fruits every 11 minutes.

New Seeds and Plants

Shop Seeds:

  • Candy Cornflower – Sells for around 40,000–70,000 shekels depending on size.
  • Blood Orange – One of the best earners, selling for 120,000–200,000 shekels.

Event & Quest Seeds:

  • Zombie Fruit – Grave-style plant; sells for ~90,000 shekels.
  • Wisp Flower – Glowing flower with decent value (~60,000–90,000 shekels).
  • Mummy Hand – Unique Halloween plant selling for around 150,000 shekels.
  • Weeping Branch – Ultra-rare mutation seed from the Dead Tree quests.

Cosmetics and Miscellaneous Additions

  • Spooky Crate – Contains new Halloween cosmetic items.
  • Hex Circle – Needed for the Hex Serpent rituals.
  • Pumpkin Set & Halloween Lights – Decorative items for your garden.

No new weather events have been confirmed in this update, but the game continues to rotate NPCs and event availability to keep things active.

The Ghoul Garden Part 2 update is packed with new content, fun minigames, and powerful items to collect. Between the rotating NPCs, the digging challenges, and the wide range of new seeds and pets, there’s plenty to grind for — especially if you’re after the Weeping Branch or Ghostly Spriggan. Whether you’re farming for profit or just decorating your spooky garden, this Halloween update is one of the most ambitious Grow a Garden events yet. Keep an eye out for more tweaks in upcoming patches, as balancing changes and drop rates might shift as the event continues.
