The global release of Stella Sora is right around the corner, and many players are already planning their first pulls. To help you start strong, here’s a detailed look at the Stella Sora Tier List, based on Closed Beta Test (CBT) data, along with a quick reroll guide to get the best early-game team possible.

This tier list is organized by overall combat performance, skill synergy, and elemental balance observed during the CBT. Keep in mind that rankings may change as balance adjustments are made in future updates after launch.

Stella Sora Tier List

Ultimate Stella Sora Beginner’s Guide, Team Building, Gacha, and Early Tips!

Tier 0 (Top Tier)

  • Gerie (Terra) – One of the strongest DPS in the CBT, excelling in both solo and boss fights thanks to her high burst damage and strong sustain.
  • Ridge (Terra) – A solid defender with strong AoE control and defense buffs, making him a key tank for team compositions.
  • Nazuna (Terra) – Excellent support with debuff cleansing and healing abilities. Works well in multi-element teams.

Tier 1 (Strong Choices)

  • Ann (Ventus) – Balanced DPS with consistent damage output and decent crowd control.
  • Minova (Lux) – A strong light-element support who boosts team attack and provides shields.
  • Nanoha (Ventus) – Flexible fighter with both healing and offensive utility.
  • Cosette (Umbra) – High burst dark-type attacker who excels in PvP setups.
  • Tilia (Lux) – Reliable support that synergizes well with light and water-based teams.
  • Flora (Ignis) – Fire-element DPS with good AoE coverage and burn mechanics.
  • Chixia (Ignis) – Fast attacker who benefits from consistent skill rotations.
  • Mistique (Umbra) – Dark mage capable of dealing heavy DoT damage and disrupting enemies.

Tier 2 (Viable but Situational)

  • Jinglin (Lux) – Light-element hybrid with decent utility but low survivability.
  • Teresa (Aqua) – Defensive support who provides healing and elemental shields.
  • Canace (Ventus) – Wind-element DPS with quick attacks, but limited late-game potential.
  • Freesia (Aqua) – Support who offers healing and crowd control, best in team play.
  • Caramel (Umbra) – Niche dark-element unit with unique debuffs, but lacks damage scaling.

Tier 3 (Early Game or Niche Units)

  • Kasimira (Ignis) – Decent starter unit with burn skills but outclassed by other fire DPS.
  • Amber (Ignis) – Average performance overall, mostly useful early on.
  • Shimiao (Aqua) – Good beginner healer but falls off in higher stages.
  • Noya (Ventus) – Provides buffs but weak in direct combat.
  • Laru (Lux) – Has charm-based skills, but limited damage potential.
  • Coronis (Umbra) – Slow build-up character, not optimal for fast-paced combat.
  • Iris – Flexible early-game unit, good for starter teams before switching to higher tiers.

Reroll Guide – How to Get the Best Start

Ultimate Stella Sora Beginner’s Guide, Team Building, Gacha, and Early Tips!

If you want a strong start in Stella Sora, rerolling is an effective method to secure top-tier characters early.

Step 1: Complete the Tutorial

Play through the introduction until you unlock the gacha system. You’ll receive free recruit tickets from pre-registration rewards.

Step 2: Perform Your First Pulls

Use your tickets on the limited banner. Ideally, aim for Gerie or Nazuna from the Terra element, as they perform best in both early and end-game content.

Step 3: Reset Your Account

If you don’t get your desired unit, log out and clear your account data (or reinstall the game, depending on platform). Repeat until you get a Tier 0 or Tier 1 character.

Step 4: Build Around Your Main DPS

Once you have your main attacker, focus on forming a mono-element team for synergy bonuses (for example, all Terra or all Aqua).

The Stella Sora CBT meta clearly favors Terra and Lux elements for both offensive and defensive balance, but this could shift after launch. As more characters are released and official stats are available, expect updates to the tier list and reroll recommendations. For now, if you manage to start your journey with Gerie, Nazuna, or Ridge, you’ll have one of the strongest setups available at launch.
