The Halloween Spotlight event has arrived in Untitled Tag Game (UTG), bringing a special limited-time challenge that rewards players with the Rune and Key Badges. This event mixes stealth, parkour, and puzzle-solving, so get ready to run, jump, and sneak your way through one of the most creative updates yet.

How to Get the Rune in Untitled Tag Game

To start, press U on your keyboard, then select Teleport to enter the Halloween Spotlight version of UTG. You’ll begin with a short cutscene before being dropped into a small parkour training area with Garfield waiting at the top of a ladder. It’s a good idea to practice your movement here—these jumps will prepare you for the real challenge ahead.

Afterward, you’ll be placed in a pipe-like maze filled with guards and winding corridors. Avoid being spotted by staying out of the light, crouching behind cover, or sneaking up to attack guards from behind. The goal is to reach the end of the section and begin the climb up the large twisting tower.

This tower features multiple tricky jumps that will test your timing and precision. If possible, it’s best to play on PC for smoother control. Once you reach the white portal wrapped in roots, you’ll trigger another cutscene—after which you’ll receive the Rune Badge for completing the first part of the event.

How to Get the Key in Untitled Tag Game

After obtaining the Rune, it’s time to move on to the Key Challenge, which is a much tougher parkour course. The goal here is to reach the very top of another tower by chaining jumps and using the environment to climb upward.

When you reach the top, interact with the item on the desk to teleport into the final area of the challenge. This last section plays similarly to the first stealth segment—you’ll need to sneak past guards without being detected and make your way through a long corridor.

At the end, you’ll find the Conduit: Pulse Key. Interact with it to claim the Key Badge, marking the completion of your Halloween Spotlight event journey.
