Guts & Blackpowder Rune & Key Badges Guide
Step 1: Gathering Silver for the Silver Bullets
To start, players need to collect 11 silver pieces scattered throughout the mansion. One teammate can focus on distracting Dracula while the others gather silver. Once you deposit all 11 silver pieces into the cauldron in the kitchen, you’ll be able to craft silver bullets. These bullets are essential, as normal weapons will not damage Dracula.
Step 2: Equipping Silver Bullets
Once the silver bullets are ready, head to the kitchen, located next to the dining room. Pick up the silver bullets to load your musket. The bullet icon on the bottom-right indicates you are armed and ready to damage Dracula.
Step 3: Attacking Dracula & Progressing
Dracula may spawn in various locations around the mansion, but the strategy remains the same: deal consistent damage while avoiding other mobs and environmental hazards. Be mindful of random NPCs like knight statues, which may activate and attack when triggered.
After enough damage, Dracula will retreat to the master bedroom, marked by a purple light. Here, waves of enemies spawn, and you must continue shooting Dracula while defending against them.
Step 4: Using the Crucifix & Completing the Phase
In the master bedroom, pick up the crucifix from a coffin to push Dracula back into a coffin. Once subdued, retrieve the stake from the coffin and use it to finish the encounter. Successfully completing this phase awards the Rune Badge.
Step 5: Sleepy Hollow Map – Getting the Key Badge
The next map, Sleepy Hollow, is slightly more difficult. Follow your team to complete the objectives:
- Collect and place the skull in the windmill.
- Proceed to the bridge and ferry sections.
- Focus on shooting the boss rather than melee. Damage is indicated by red flashes, just like in the previous fight.
- Team Strategy: Set up defensive positions at the back dock and prepare to defend while attacking the boss. Coordination is key, especially when lag affects gameplay.
Once the boss is defeated, all participating players will receive the Key Badge for the event.
Completing the Halloween Spotlight event gives players the Jack-o’-Lantern Utility, Rune Badge, and Key Badge. Hovering over each map in the menu will show the specific rewards for that section, including additional items for completing harder versions.
