The newest Fisch Roblox update has officially arrived, bringing a fresh level cap increase, new Angler quests, and several changes to the Halloween-themed Fish Fright event. While the update might not be the biggest, it comes packed with new rewards, buffed items, and small but meaningful improvements that make leveling up more rewarding than ever. Here’s a complete guide to everything new in the Level 2000 and Angler update.

Level Cap Increased to 2000

The level cap has officially jumped from 1,500 to 2,000, giving players more to grind and new exclusive rewards to unlock along the way. Below are all the milestone rewards you’ll receive as you progress toward the new cap:

  • Level 1,600 – Fish Bobber
A secret-shaped bobber that’s mostly cosmetic but rare enough to be worth collecting.
  • Level 1,700 – Celestial Waders
A new pair of boots even faster than the ones from the Fish Fry event. They’re sleek, functional, and perfect for faster movement across fishing zones.
  • Level 1,800 – Voided Gloves
These gloves give a passive ability that occasionally duplicates your caught fish. You’ll know it triggers when a message pops up saying, “Randomly received a duplicate fish from Voided Gloves.”
  • Level ???? – Cardboard Box Boat
This comical but fast little boat has 165 speed, 50 steering, and 1.2 acceleration. The exact level requirement isn’t confirmed, but players can unlock it somewhere before hitting max level.
  • Level 2,000 – Random Rod
The ultimate reward at max level. The Random Rod has 80% lure speed, 1000% luck, and infinite max kg. Its stats shift each time you use it, making every cast unpredictable. The rod can grant either positive or negative bonuses, living up to its name. It’s a fun “troll rod” with wild effects, including jackpots or unlucky catches.

You’ll also earn the Sentinel of the Deep title upon reaching level 2000.

New Angler Quest System

The Angler NPC has received a major overhaul, introducing a questline filled with better rewards and increased payouts. Completing his tasks can now grant you:

  • Angler Gloves – Boost all bait stats and give a 50% chance to not consume bait. These gloves are powerful, though you’ll need to decide whether to use them or the Voided Gloves depending on your playstyle.

More Angler rewards are expected to roll out in future patches, but even now, the quest system offers a strong incentive for players to participate in fishing missions again.

FishFright Event Quests and Candy Rewards

During the Halloween Fish Fright event, three new NPCs offer candy-based quests:

  • Tobayian – Found near the Trick-or-Treat houses. Exchange a Spooky Relic for 2,500 candy.
  • Brian – Located near the pumpkin patch. Trade a Frightful Relic for another 2,500 candy.
  • Ducekar – Found on the path toward the mansion. Turn in a Nightmare Skeletal Nessie (caught using the Ducetar Rod) for 8,000 candy.

These quests can net you up to 13,000 candy, though obtaining the Nightmare Skeletal Nessie will take significant effort.

Additionally, Trick-or-Treat doors have been buffed — the timer between openings is now 8 minutes instead of 10, and candy rewards have been slightly increased.

Item Buffs and Shop Updates

Several in-game items and systems also got rebalanced in this patch:

  • Jacko Blazer Rod – Luck increased from 66% to 166.6%.
  • Frightful Pools – Skull catch rate doubled, making skeletal fish farming faster.
  • Daily Shop (Moosewood) – Megalodon, Kraken, and Scylla hunt totems now spawn twice as often, though they remain rare.

This Fisch Roblox update might seem small at first, but it introduces some exciting additions. The Level 2000 milestone brings new gear and the fun yet chaotic Random Rod, while the Angler quests and Fish Fright NPCs offer solid candy rewards and collectible gear. If you’re grinding toward the new level cap or just want to stock up on Halloween items, this is a great time to jump back into Fisch. The next major update is already on the horizon, so make sure you’re caught up and ready for what’s coming next.
