Prospecting Halloween Part 2 Update Guide, New Codes and More!

The latest Halloween Part 2 update has just dropped in Roblox Prospecting, and while it’s not the biggest patch, it brings a handful of cool additions — including a new merchant, a new excavation site, and an expanded potion shop. Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of this event before it ends.

1. Headless Merchant Returns

The highlight of this update is the Headless Merchant, who appears in the Graveyard with limited stock. He doesn’t stay permanently — spawning in and out during specific admin events — so timing is everything. Here’s what he sells (when available):

  • Witch Hat – Costs 1,000 Luck. Provides a boost to Walk Speed and overall Luck.
  • Spider Bow Tie – Another rare item available for a short time.
  • Candy Sack – A limited-time Halloween equipment piece.

Because stocks are shared across all servers, the items sell out fast. If you miss your chance, don’t worry — the merchant reappears with each admin event, so be ready with the required materials like Pumpkin Soul and Volcanic Core before his next spawn.

2. New Excavation Site

A brand-new location, Excavation Site, has been added. You can find it in the Overgrown Grotto area. Once there, you’ll need to purchase a Permit for 100 billion, which allows you to start digging for exclusive rewards. Here’s how it works:

  • Each excavation run lasts about 23 hours, making it a daily task.
  • You’ll need to claim your previous excavation before starting a new one.
  • Rewards vary, but expect high-value loot in return for the steep price tag.

It’s a long grind, but for those investing time daily, it’s a good source of resources.

3. Potion Seller in Snowy Mountains

A Potion Seller has also been added at the Snowy Mountain area, specifically near the Frostbitten Path. This new NPC sells various powerful potions that boost luck, speed, and other stats.

Here’s the potion list:

  • Frozen Luck Potion – Costs 25 million and grants +100 Luck.
  • Frozen Speed Potion – Costs 50 million, increasing Dig and Shake Speed by 20%.
  • Cryonic Brew – Costs 200 Shards, grants +300 Luck, +200 Capacity, and +3 Walk Speed.

These potions are pricey, but they’re valuable for players grinding during events. The Cryonic Brew, in particular, offers a strong overall boost.

4. New Stat Type: Inventory Size

This update also adds a new stat type called Inventory Size. While details remain limited, it seems certain equipment pieces now offer an increase in inventory space automatically when equipped. This should make it easier to manage the growing list of materials and loot items in your bag.

Prospecting New Code?

  • HEADLESSHORSEMEN

It’s a limited-time code tied to the Halloween event, so claim it before it expires. Also check out other Prospecting Codes for more rewards!

This update might be smaller compared to the first Halloween release, but it still offers meaningful additions for active players. Between the Headless Merchant’s limited gear, the daily excavation site, and the new potion boosts, there’s plenty to grind for over the next two weeks. If you missed any of the first event rewards, now’s your chance to catch up and prepare before the Halloween event wraps up for good. Stay alert for merchant spawns, stock up on luck, and take advantage of every admin event you can in Prospecting.
