The Halloween season in Dusty Trip comes with an exciting reward for dedicated players: the brand-new Spectra Car. Unlike most vehicles, this one requires serious effort and time to unlock. If you’ve been wondering how to get it and whether it’s worth the grind, this guide covers everything you need to know — from earning the Halloween badges to testing its performance in-game.

What is the Spectra Car in Dusty Trip?

How to Unlock the Spectra Car in Dusty Trip Guide

The Spectra Car is one of the newest free-to-play vehicles introduced during the Halloween event. It stands out for its sleek design and impressive top speed — reaching around 151 km/h, making it faster than most regular vehicles. However, unlocking it isn’t easy, as it’s tied to completing several Halloween challenges.

To begin, talk to Jason in the event area and select “View Halloween Badges.” You’ll see the list of objectives required to earn the Spectra Car. Once all five badges are complete, the car will automatically unlock in your garage. Here are the five badges you’ll need to complete:

  1. Defeat 150 Skeleton Mutants
  2. Trick-or-Treat 40 Times
  3. Place 20 Mutants into Graves
  4. Drive 25,000 meters in the Monster Machine
  5. Travel Through a Portal 50 Times

Since one of these missions requires the Monster Machine, you’ll first need to collect 7,500 Candy to unlock that vehicle before progressing toward the Spectra.

How to Complete Each Halloween Challenge

1. Defeat 150 Skeleton Mutants

Skeleton Mutants appear inside the Halloween portal, found around the 1,250m mark. Enter it to find waves of skeletons to fight. Each one you defeat counts toward your badge.

2. Trick-or-Treat at 40 Houses

As you drive across the desert, you’ll find random houses. Approach the door, ring the bell, and you’ll receive Candy. Each visit counts as one trick-or-treat.

3. Place 20 Mutants into Graves

After defeating a mutant, you can carry their body by attaching it to your car. Look for scattered graves around the map, then drop the mutant inside to progress this challenge.

4. Drive 25,000 Meters in the Monster Machine

This one takes time. Equip the Monster Machine and drive long distances until you reach 25,000m. If you have a friend with the vehicle, you can ride along — both of you will earn progress toward the badge.

5. Travel Through 50 Portals

Portals appear every few kilometers along your journey. Drive through 50 of them to complete this requirement.

Spectra Car Performance Test

Once unlocked, the Spectra Car performs surprisingly well for a free-to-play reward. It reaches a maximum speed of 151 km/h, only slightly slower than the Monster Machine but much faster than other standard vehicles (which usually cap at 108–130 km/h).

In terms of fuel efficiency, it consumes about 6L of gas, 2L of oil, and 1.2L of water per long-distance run, which is quite manageable. Players have also noted fewer bugs compared to the Monster Machine, which previously suffered from movement and refueling glitches.

Is the Spectra Car Worth Unlocking?

Absolutely. While the grind is long — especially with the Monster Machine requirement — the Spectra Car is one of the best-performing free vehicles in Dusty Trip. It’s fast, stable, and doesn’t suffer from the same issues that plagued earlier event cars.

If you’re planning to stick around for future events or just want a reliable, stylish car to explore the wasteland, the Spectra is a must-have.

The Spectra Car represents one of the most rewarding free grinds in Dusty Trip’s Halloween event. Between its strong performance, sleek design, and challenging unlock conditions, it’s a goal worth chasing for dedicated players.

Make sure to complete all five badges, collect your Candy efficiently, and take advantage of any help from friends with the Monster Machine. With patience and persistence, the Spectra Car will soon be sitting proudly in your garage — ready to take you through the dusty wastelands faster than ever.
