The Halloween Spotlight Event in Roblox has just unlocked Codex Area 2, and with it comes a brand-new set of prizes that players can now earn. This second wave brings three unique rewards — the Calamitous Candelabra, the Mycomancer Horns, and the Phantasmal Fox.

These prizes require solving new puzzles, collecting ghostly items, and using your keys to unlock special doors. Here’s the complete walkthrough on how to get all three. Also check out our Roblox Halloween Spotlight Guide How to Get All Items before!

Unlocking Codex Area 2

Before you can start earning the new items, you’ll need to unlock Area 2 using your runes. Once you’ve completed enough games and gathered the required runes, the second area on your Codex stone will turn green, meaning it’s now open. To find the new area:

  • Open your compass to locate the portal easily.
  • Follow the main path, cross the bridge, and head into the green portal.
  • This will teleport you to a creepy woodland-themed zone filled with new paths, puzzles, and collectibles.

How to Get the Calamitous Candelabra

Once inside Area 2, follow the main trail until you reach a broken bridge. A fallen tree blocks the path, forcing you to take an alternate route. Here’s what to do:

  1. Take the ghostly path near the broken bridge — it glows faintly with mist.
  2. Carefully walk across the path; falling will make you respawn.
  3. At the end, you’ll find the Calamitous Candelabra accessory waiting.

It’s a candle-like headpiece with a spooky touch — perfect for Halloween.

How to Get the Mycomancer Horns

Next, you’ll need to collect three ghostly scarecrows scattered around the area. Once you find all three, you’ll unlock the door to claim the horns. Here’s the route:

  • First Scarecrow: Located near the main path; easy to spot.
  • Second Scarecrow: Found inside a cave at the end of the trail.
  • Third Scarecrow: Located along a path lined with statues. Be careful — one of them will trigger a jump scare before disappearing.

Once all three are collected, return to the main gate and place the scarecrows. The door will open, and you’ll find the Mycomancer Horns inside.

Note: Some players experienced a minor glitch where keys were used automatically during this step. Make sure you have three keys available before starting this section.

How to Get the Phantasmal Fox

The final reward — the Phantasmal Fox — requires solving another ghost puzzle, this time involving four spirits. These act similarly to the scarecrows, but are hidden deeper within the area. Here’s how to get all four:

  1. First Ghost: Near the entrance bridge. It may chase you briefly after appearing.
  2. Second Ghost: Found along a red mist bridge. Avoid the red smoke or it will instantly reset you.
  3. Third Ghost: On a floating rock path to the right side of the map.
  4. Fourth Ghost: Hidden trail near a rock formation — you’ll need to walk close before it becomes visible.

After collecting all four, go back and place them on the pedestals. This will open the final door leading to the Phantasmal Fox, a ghostly pet-style accessory.

The second wave of rewards in the Halloween Spotlight Event offers a fun mix of puzzles and exploration, with easier mechanics than the first area. You’ll need to spend time collecting runes and keys, but the three prizes — Calamitous Candelabra, Mycomancer Horns, and Phantasmal Fox — make the effort worth it.

Even if the fox might end up as a trophy item rather than something you wear, completing Area 2 gets you one step closer to finishing your Codex and mastering the Roblox Halloween Spotlight Event.
