How to Complete the Murder Mystery Quest Emergency Response: Liberty County Guide

The Murder Mystery Quest has officially arrived in Emergency Response: Liberty County, bringing a full investigation storyline that lets you play as a detective to solve a poisoning case. This guide will take you step-by-step through the entire quest, including every objective, key NPC location, and how to finish it for rewards.

1. Join the Police Team

To begin the Murder Mystery quest, start by joining the Police Department. Once you’ve joined, look at the top right of your screen and select the Murder Mystery event option to begin. From there, you’ll get your first task.

2. Speak to the 911 Caller (Janice Hamilton)

Your first objective is to talk to Janice Hamilton, the person who reported the crime. She’ll give you the initial details about the case. After speaking to her, head inside the house to investigate the crime scene.

3. Investigate the Crime Scene

Look for four key items inside the house to inspect, including a knife and several other objects marked with prompts. Once you’ve investigated all of them, you’ll unlock the next step — talking to the doctor.

4. Talk to Dr. Hayes (Medical Examiner)

Visit Dr. Hayes to learn the cause of death — poison. This is where your real investigation begins. You’ll need to analyze evidence and figure out who could have poisoned the victim.

5. Check the Victim’s Phone

Examine the victim’s phone to find messages suggesting an argument with Lydia Daniel, the victim’s daughter. This gives your first major lead. Take note of the name and location that appears in the messages — High Rock Park.

6. Visit Lydia Daniel

Head to Lydia Daniel’s house. She’ll deny any involvement, but her dialogue will hint at deeper issues with her father. After speaking to her, your next task is to investigate a glass vial, which leads to updates from the lab.

7. Go to the Doctor’s Office and Speak to Nurse Clara

Next, visit Nurse Clara at the Doctor’s Office. You’ll need to search through medical folders and records inside the admin office. Once that’s done, you’ll be sent to the courthouse for more information.

8. Investigate Records at the Courthouse

At the courthouse (located near the hospital), speak to the court clerk and check the bank transaction records. After reading through the files, your next objective is to return to Janice Hamilton for more intel.

9. Return to Janice Hamilton for a Lead

Janice reveals new evidence — the poison was delivered to the victim’s house, and the suspect drives a blue SUV with the plate “Dr. Crow.” You’ll now receive a report about the suspect being seen near High Rock Park.

10. Find the Blue SUV and Dr. Crow’s House

Travel toward High Rock Park, where you’ll find the blue SUV parked with the license plate “Dr. CROW.” Investigate the vehicle, then continue searching nearby houses until you locate Dr. Samuel Crow’s home (next to Lydia’s house).

11. Investigate Dr. Crow’s House

Inside, you’ll find several key items:

  • Boarding pass (destination: Greenville Airport)
  • Stacks of money and documents
  • A vial of poison

Inspect everything thoroughly. Once all items are examined, your investigation will conclude automatically.

12. Complete the Murder Mystery Quest

After finding all the evidence, you’ll officially solve the case — uncovering Dr. Crow as the killer. You’ll receive your Murder Mystery 2025 completion badge and a reward of $10,000 in-game cash.

The Murder Mystery quest in ERLC is one of the best story-driven events in the game so far. It mixes investigation, exploration, and roleplay perfectly while rewarding you for completing every clue. If you enjoy solving mysteries, make sure to play through it — not only for the rewards but also for the great detective experience it offers.
