How to Get Nico Yarncaster’s Rod Fisch Guide

Every week, Fisch Roblox brings new challenges for players, and this time, one of the most sought-after rewards is the Nico’s Yarncaster Rod. It’s not an easy item to obtain—there are several tricky steps to follow—but with this guide, you’ll be able to complete the entire process smoothly from start to finish.

1. Enter Vertigo and Unlock the Depths

Your journey begins at Vertigo. To reach it, explore the ocean until you find a whirlpool with water shooting upward—make sure it’s the correct one, as regular whirlpools won’t take you there.

Once inside Vertigo, you need to complete the entire Bestiary in this area to unlock access to the Depths. After that, fish up a Depth Key near the lower section of Vertigo. Use this key to unlock the gate guarded by the NPC on the right side of the area.

From there, glide upward, cross the obstacles, and pass through the small wall gap to finally enter the Depths.

2. Find the Crazy Cat Lady in Crystal Cove

In the Depths, use your glider to reach the merchant’s area, then turn right toward the waterfall. To progress, you’ll need an Enchant Relic with the Chaotic Mutation effect.

Once you have the relic, jump near the waterfall and follow the catwalk path into a tunnel. This tunnel leads to Crystal Cove—be careful not to touch the water here, as it will instantly kill your character.

Jump across the platforms until you reach the black platform, then place the Chaotic Enchant Relic on the pedestal to open the Music Venue. Head to the back room, where you’ll meet the Crazy Cat Lady, the NPC who gives you the Nico’s Yarncaster quest.

3. First Stage: Solve 5 Random Riddles

The Crazy Cat Lady will assign you three quest stages, each containing five random riddles (15 total). Some examples include:

  • “An emperor among coral” → Coral Emperor with Abyssal Mutation (location: Grand Reef)
  • “Wing through sunlight” → Shiny Flying Fish (location: Ocean, nighttime)
  • “Intricate patterns light the abyss below” → Atlantean Mosaic Swimmer (location: Atlantis, Ethereal Abyss)

After completing all five riddles in this stage, you’ll earn the Sacred Cat Lantern, a special cosmetic item.

4. Second Stage: Catch Fish with Unique Mutations

In the second stage, you’ll receive five new riddles to solve. Here are some examples and their answers:

  • “With a carrot in its beaks” → Carrot Prismatic Parrotfish (location: Mariana’s Veil)
  • “In the shadowed altar” → Frozen Umbil Shark (requires Arctic Rod)
  • “In Twilight’s hush” → Ashen Fortune Twilight Glowfish (location: Atlantis, Sunken Depths)

After finishing this stage, you’ll obtain the Nico’s Yarncaster Rod, which has the following stats:

  • Lure Speed: 65%
  • Luck: 75%
  • Control: 0.1
  • Resilience: 35%
  • Max KG: 10,000

This rod also comes with powerful passive abilities. It can trigger Scrunkly Mutation and Nico’s Niantics, increasing the sell value of fish by up to 5x when used with the bobber from the third stage.

5. Third Stage: Obtain the Bobber

The final step includes another round of riddles, such as:

  • “A fleeting anomaly hops through the deep” → Anomalous Rabbitfish
  • “Marks like constellations adorn its regal crest” → Celestial Deep Crownfish
  • “The frost rot blaze beneath mirrored skies” → Scrunkly Aurora Trout (must be caught using Nico’s Yarncaster)

Once all riddles are completed, you’ll receive the Clownfish Cat Toy, a special bobber that enhances the Nico’s Yarncaster’s power and unlocks new mutation-catching possibilities.

Earning the Nico’s Yarncaster Rod requires patience, precision, and a bit of luck—but the rewards make it all worthwhile. Not only does it offer strong stats and unique passives, but it also features striking visual effects and exclusive synergy with the Clownfish Cat Toy bobber. For dedicated collectors and rare fish hunters in Fisch Roblox, the Nico’s Yarncaster Rod is an essential addition to your collection—both powerful and stylish, it’s easily one of the best rods in the game.
