This update focuses on making the gameplay smoother, giving players more control over their traits, weapons, and overall builds. Here’s a complete breakdown of everything new in the latest patch.
Capsule NPC – Race & Trait Storage
One of the biggest highlights of this update is the new Capsule NPC, located in Rogue Town. This feature allows players to store and swap races or traits easily without needing to reroll every time. You can purchase storage slots for 25,000 Gems, and once unlocked, you can freely switch between stored traits or races whenever you want.
This addition gives players a lot more flexibility when experimenting with builds. For example, if you want to test a different race or try a hybrid setup, you can simply use the capsule instead of starting over.
Blacksmith NPC – Weapon Buffs Using Shards
Another key feature is the Blacksmith NPC, found on Slayer’s Island. The blacksmith lets players use shards to apply buffs to their weapons, such as increased damage or other unique enhancements. This mechanic adds depth to combat and makes every weapon build feel unique.
For instance, the Dual Daggers benefit greatly from damage buffs, allowing for more aggressive and high-speed gameplay. Some players have even managed to reach up to 20% extra damage, making this one of the most useful features in the update.
New Title – “Vasto Rage”
A brand-new title called Vasto Rage has been added. To unlock it, players must defeat 10 Orangar users. The title not only looks cool but also enhances your character’s visual effects and battle flair. Chests Return to Quests
Chests are now back as quest rewards. Completing quests will once again grant treasure chests, which can contain various useful items and materials. This change makes grinding more rewarding and gives players extra motivation to complete daily or story missions.
New Trait – Reduced Cooldown
One of the rarest additions in this update is a 0.1% drop trait that cuts your skill cooldowns by 50%, but also reduces defense by the same amount. This high-risk, high-reward trait works best for players who prefer speed or hybrid builds.
It’s especially powerful with Dual Daggers, as it allows nearly infinite iframe (invincibility frame) spamming. Even without the cooldown perk, a damage-focused build remains the best option for daggers due to their already fast skill rotation.
