If you’re progressing through your rod collection in Fish It, the Ares Rod is one you’ll want to consider. With Mythical rarity, it’s among the strongest rods available right now and fits well into mid- to late-game progression. Another rod worth noting is the Elemental Rod, which can be obtained by finishing secret quest, but let’s focus on the Ares Rod for now.

Ares Rod Stats

Fish It Ares Rod Guide, Location & How to Get!

The Ares Rod performs well, though it doesn’t have any passive abilities at the moment. Here’s what you get:

  • Luck: 390–455%
  • Speed: 56%
  • Maximum Weight: 400,000kg

While the stats are solid, the lack of a passive ability may limit its versatility compared to some other high-tier rods. That said, it remains a reliable option for serious mid-game anglers looking to upgrade their collection.

How to Obtain the Ares Rod

To get the Ares Rod, you’ll need to head to Tropical Grove Island. Start by spawning a boat and sailing to the island, then equip Diving Gear, which is necessary for the underwater sections. You can buy this gear using in-game coins.

Once on the island, make your way to the waterfall area and swim through the water to reach a hidden cove. On your left, you’ll spot some rocks to jump onto. Proceed forward, and you’ll find a skeleton on the ground with the Ares Rod resting above a small pile of rocks.

The rod costs 3 million in-game coins, which is a significant investment but reasonable for a Mythical rod with strong stats. If you want to enhance its performance, you can use Enchant Stones to boost its stats further.

The Ares Rod is definitely worth acquiring if you’re aiming to strengthen your rod progression in Fish It. Its Mythical rarity, strong stats, and reasonable price make it a solid choice for mid- to late-game fishing. If you prefer a rod with additional passive bonuses, you might want to consider other rods in your collection, but for raw power and consistent performance, the Ares Rod is a strong contender.
