The world of Sword of Justice offers more than just intense battles and PvP fights. It also features a deep and rewarding Life Skill Identity System, allowing players to gather, craft, perform, and explore in unique ways.
Each identity lets you focus on specific professions, unlocking different rewards, cosmetics, and resources that enhance both your gameplay and social experience. Also check out our Sword of Justice Codes and Class Tier List for those new to the game.
Understanding the Identity System
In Sword of Justice, identities act as the game’s version of life skills. You can access them from the top-right menu under the “Identity” tab. There are currently 12 life skills available, though one — the Pet Raising identity — is not yet unlocked. These are divided into several categories:
- Gathering Professions: Herb Gathering, Mining, Fishing
- Crafting Professions: Alchemy, Smelting, Cooking
- Social Professions: Instrument Playing, Dancing, Dressing
- Special Activities: Relic Treasure Hunting, Case Solving
Each life skill uses Vigor, a stamina-like resource that determines how much you can perform activities per day. Vigor regenerates slowly over time, but you can also earn more by completing daily quests or using Vigor Pills from the guild shop or battle pass.
Gathering and Crafting Professions
Herb Gathering and Alchemy go hand in hand. Herbs collected from the wild are used to craft potions and resistance pills essential for raids and exploration. Alchemy is one of the most important skills for PvE and PvP players since it provides healing and stat-boosting items.
Mining and Smelting are crucial for crafting and upgrading equipment. Mining gives you raw materials like ores, which can be refined through Smelting into high-grade metals. These are used to make gear, components, and even guild contributions.
Fishing and Cooking complement each other. Fishing offers a relaxing way to gather resources, while Cooking provides food that can restore vitality and assist in travel adventures. Although food doesn’t provide combat buffs, it helps with faster progress in exploration missions.
Social Professions: Music, Dance, and Fashion
For those who enjoy the lighter side of the game, Instrument Playing and Dancing serve as fun, interactive rhythm minigames. They also reward you with unique costumes and accessories. These can be performed solo or on stage, often used for guild events or social gatherings.
Dressing focuses on dyeing and customizing outfits. You’ll need wood and colorful threads, which can be gathered from the open world. Higher-quality dyes, such as Imperial Dyes, can be obtained from the marketplace or battle pass. This system encourages creativity and lets you stand out with personalized fashion.
Exploration and Earning Banknotes
Two life skills are especially useful for farming in-game currency:
- Relic Treasure Hunting lets you search ancient ruins for hidden treasures. You’ll follow clues and use intuition to uncover artifacts. Some areas are PvP-enabled, so proceed cautiously. This activity rewards you with Banknotes, one of the game’s main currencies.
- Case Solving (Constable Identity) turns you into a detective, investigating mysteries and catching criminals. Completing trials and patrols also grants Banknotes, crafting materials, and rare gear orders.
Both of these skills are highly recommended for players seeking to strengthen their finances without relying solely on grinding monsters or quests.
Managing Vigor and Rewards
Your progress in each identity depends heavily on your Vigor. Without it, you can’t gather or craft efficiently. The best ways to maintain a steady supply are:
- Completing daily activities for 300 Vigor per day.
- Buying Vigor Pills from the Guild Shop (once a week for free-to-play).
- Claiming additional pills from the Battle Pass.
As your identities level up, you’ll unlock new outfits, frames, and accessories, allowing you to show off your mastery across different professions.
The Life Skill Identity System in Sword of Justice adds a refreshing layer of depth beyond combat. Whether you enjoy crafting powerful potions, performing music with friends, or exploring ruins for treasure, every identity offers something valuable. By managing your vigor and balancing between professions, you can progress faster, earn more resources, and fully enjoy the diverse world that Sword of Justice has to offer.
