All New Safari Pets and Their Abilities

There are six new pets in this update, each with unique effects that can change how you play and farm. Here’s what you need to know about them:

1. Hyena

A rare safari pet that gains extra XP per second for every Hyena in your garden. However, this effect only activates when you also have a non-Hyena pet equipped.

2. Hippo

One of the most fun pets in the update. It occasionally eats watermelons to earn bonus Shekels (in-game currency) and may even return the seed. It can also apply the new Monsoon Mutation, which boosts plant growth in ways not yet fully revealed.

3. Gecko

A more common safari pet that grants higher variant chances for nearby safari-type plants. It’s simple but useful for collectors aiming to expand their garden’s diversity.

4. Buffalo

A powerful pet built for grinding. It has a chance to duplicate harvested plants and an increased duplication rate for safari-type plants. This makes it great for farming rare produce efficiently.

5. Crocodile (Mythical)

This pet’s ability is wild—literally. The Crocodile occasionally bites a random plant or pet for a set duration. When this happens, plants get huge growth bonuses, while pets receive massive XP boosts.

6. Lion (Divine)

The king of the jungle finally arrives in Grow a Garden. The Lion has two powerful abilities:

  • Occasionally roars to sync cooldowns across all pets, calling them to its side.
  • Occasionally mutates fruits up to the number of different safari pets you own, applying random Safari Mutations.

This divine pet is expected to redefine team synergy and become one of the most valuable pets in the game.

The Mega Safari Harvest isn’t just another small content patch—it’s a major step forward for Grow a Garden. With new divine and mythical pets, complex fusion mechanics, rare seeds, and interactive gear, the game feels more alive than ever.

From the thrill of unlocking a Lion pet to farming Peacock Tail Seeds, this update revives the sense of discovery that made Grow a Garden so popular. Whether you’re here for collection, competition, or relaxation, this event gives you a reason to jump back in.

Get ready to explore, experiment, and expand your safari—because the Mega Safari Harvest update marks the beginning of a whole new era for Grow a Garden.
