New Moon Demon Guide, How to Become a Demon & Unlock Blood Demon Art
In New Moon, the new Demon Slayer-inspired Roblox game, players can choose between becoming a Slayer or a Demon. Each path offers unique progression systems and abilities. If you want to embrace the dark side and wield a powerful Blood Demon Art, this guide will walk you through every step — from turning into a demon to unlocking your first set of powers quickly.
How to Become a Demon in New Moon
After completing the game’s tutorial and cinematic introduction, you’ll reach a key choice:
- Run – Become a Slayer
- Stay – Become a Demon
If you want to become a demon, simply choose “Stay.” This will trigger another cinematic scene showing your transformation. Once it’s over, you’ll automatically spawn in-game as a Demon.
From this point forward, your path changes — you’ll progress through PvP missions, hunt Slayers, and work toward awakening your Blood Demon Art.
Blood Demon Art Requirements
To unlock your first Blood Demon Art (BDA), you must meet these conditions:
- Get 10 Mission Kills
- Kill 10 Slayers
- (Optional/Unconfirmed) Reach 500 LO – Some players mentioned this, but the game’s developer confirmed it isn’t required.
Once you complete these objectives, you’ll automatically gain access to your Blood Demon Art.
How to Progress as a Demon
To start progressing:
- Press M to open your main menu.
- Select the Mission tab.
- Queue for missions and complete them repeatedly.
Each mission will teleport you into a PvP deathmatch. You’ll either face other demons or slayers — both count toward your progression.
Keep completing missions and farming kills until your requirements are met.
This process usually takes about one to two hours, depending on your performance in each match.
Fixing the Blood Demon Art Unlock Bug
Some players have reported that after meeting all the conditions, their BDA doesn’t unlock right away.
If this happens:
- Log out of the game, then log back in.
After rejoining, your mission tracker should disappear, and your progress will register correctly.
This bug is known by the developers, so relogging is the fastest fix until it’s patched.
Using Your Blood Demon Art
Once your Blood Demon Art is unlocked, you’ll gain access to its passive and active abilities.
- You can check your current BDA by using your skill keys (E, R, or other hotkeys).
- Some arts provide ranged attacks, like pulling enemies with arrows, while others summon weapons or special effects.
- Try pressing different keys to test your available moves.
Each BDA has its own progression system, so continue fighting and completing missions to unlock new skills over time.
Becoming a Demon in New Moon is straightforward but requires dedication. After choosing “Stay” in the intro, your main focus is completing missions and defeating Slayers until your Blood Demon Art awakens. If your progress doesn’t show immediately, relogging will usually fix the issue.
Once your BDA is unlocked, you’ll gain access to unique and powerful abilities — making you a true threat in the PvP arena. Keep training, experiment with your skills, and prepare for future updates that might expand Demon progression even further.
