New Pets from the Gems Egg
The Gems Egg now includes pets from Rare to Divine tiers, each with their own unique role.
1. Topaz Snail (Rare)
Topaz Snail triggers a Cleansing Pet Shard whenever Lucky Harvest activates. It’s simple but handy if you rely on Lucky Harvest to speed up your progress.
2. Geode Turtle (Rare)
Every 5 minutes, this turtle converts one Advanced Sprinkle into a Geode Sprinkle. It also gives Geode Mutation, making it ideal for mutation-focused gardens.
3. Emerald Snake (Legendary)
Every 7 minutes, Emerald Snake transforms a random Fruit into a cosmetic-related event item. If you like collecting event cosmetics, this pet is one of the best options.
4. Amethyst Beetle (Epic)
This beetle challenges other players’ beetles every 6 minutes. You earn rewards every time your beetle wins the battle, giving you extra passive income.
5. Sapphire Macao (Epic)
Every 8 minutes, Sapphire Macao has a 15% chance to turn nearby Fruit into Crystallize Mutation. It’s an easy way to stack mutation bonuses.
6. Ruby Squid (Divine – 0.5%)
Ruby Squid permanently copies the ability of another pet for the entire session. Unlike Mimic-type pets, this one does not pick abilities randomly. Once it copies a pet, it sticks with it until you leave the game.
7. Diamond Panther (Divine – 0.5%)
When you harvest Fruit with 12+ mutations, there is a 4–8% chance that a random pet in your garden gains +1 age level. This helps speed up pet growth and ability unlocks.
Gems Egg Pull Rates
Here are the gacha chances from the Gems Egg:
- Topaz Snail: 45%
- Amethyst Beetle: 30%
- Emerald Snake: 14%
- Sapphire Macao: 8.5%
- Ruby Squid: 0.5%
- Diamond Panther: 0.5%
Additional Pets (Not from Gems Egg)
1. Cheetah
Every 8 minutes, you turn into Cheetah form, granting a 15–30% chance of triggering Wild Fast Mutation during harvest.
2. Goblin Miner
This pet digs every 5 minutes and brings back random rewards. The loot varies, but it’s a good passive helper for gathering extra items.
3. Smithing Dog
Every 5 minutes, Smithing Dog gives Coal with a 10–20% chance. Useful for crafting-focused players.
4. Termite
This pet eats a random pet every 11 minutes and reduces that pet’s age by 1. It can be helpful in specific setups, but use it carefully since it can affect important pets.
The latest Smithing update adds valuable new pets that strengthen almost every part of Grow a Garden’s gameplay loop. Whether you’re aiming for faster mutations, passive rewards, or easier crafting, choosing the right mix of pets can make your garden far more efficient. Explore each pet’s ability and build a setup that supports your farming style as the game continues to expand with new events and features.
