How to Help the Deer in 99 Nights in the Forest Injured Deer Update Guide

The latest update in 99 Nights in the Forest introduces a new rescue event built around the fallen Deer. After a brutal fight, the Deer is now found collapsed near the fire, and it’s up to you to bring it back to full strength. Where to Find the Injured Deer

After updating your game, head toward the main fire area. The Deer will now appear there, lying on the ground, weakened and unable to move. The event begins the moment you approach it or interact with it.

Step 1 – Bring 2 Bandages or a Medkit

Before helping the Deer, make sure you have two Bandages or one Medkit in your inventory. These are required to treat its wounds and start the healing sequence. Without these items, the event will not progress. If you don’t have any, gather materials or check your storage before returning.

Step 2 – Feed the Deer (Morsel or Steak)

After patching its wounds, the Deer will also need food to regain stamina.
You can feed it either:

• Morsel
• Steak

Both work the same way, so use whichever you have available. Once fed, the Deer will start recovering, but this also triggers the next threat.

Step 3 – Defeat the Alpha Wolves

As the Deer begins to regain strength, Alpha Wolves will spawn nearby. These wolves are stronger than regular ones and must be taken down to fully complete the rescue. Tips to win the fight:

• Keep some healing items for yourself
• Use ranged weapons if possible
• Move around the fire area to avoid getting cornered

Once all Alpha Wolves are defeated, the Deer is safe.

Helping the Deer is one of the most engaging tasks added to 99 Nights in the Forest, mixing exploration, healing, and combat all in one sequence.
