This update brings some of the biggest changes Garden Tower Defense has ever received. Survival Mode gets new mechanics, Endless Mode becomes tougher and more rewarding, and players finally get access to new limited units through Seeds. If you want a full breakdown of everything added, patched, or updated, this guide walks you through all the details.
Survival Mode Updates
Survival Mode gets several major features that make team play more important:
Revive System
You can now revive teammates before the timer runs out. This gives squads a chance to recover from tough waves without restarting the run.
Carry Feature
When a teammate gets KO’ed, you can pick them up and carry them to safety. This adds a new layer of teamwork, especially during chaotic rounds.
KO Respawn Rules
If you get knocked out, you’ll automatically respawn every 5 rounds or at the next level, whichever happens first. This creates a smoother run and reduces downtime.
Seasonal Changes
- Candy Corns have officially expired.
- Most Halloween units are offsale now, but still tradable.
Endless Mode Overhaul
Endless Mode is the star of this update, with tons of new content and a difficulty spike.
Graveyard Endless Now Available
A brand new Endless map has launched, featuring unique enemy waves and higher difficulty scaling.
New Endless Reward Units
These units are tied to your Endless progression and come in different tiers:
- Bronze Franksprout
- Silver Franksprout
- Gold Franksprout
- Glass Thornzilla
Each tier offers better stats and visual upgrades, rewarding players who push further.
Endless Difficulty Raised
This is described as the “largest ever wave update,” making the mode far tougher and more competitive.
New Limited Units (Seeds Shop)
Two new units are now obtainable exclusively with Seeds and are marked as low-stock:
- Watering Can – 14,999 Seeds
- Multisawflower – 9,999 Seeds
Both units are limited and expected to sell out quickly, so use your Seeds wisely.
Mystery Trader Improvements
The Mystery Trader now rotates stock that can be purchased with Seeds, instead of relying on randomness. This makes it easier to plan purchases and target specific units you need.
Trading and Gifting System Update
The backend for trading and gifting has been updated to reduce vulnerabilities. This helps prevent item duplication, trading exploits, and unfair transfers. Players are encouraged to report any issues they encounter.
Quality-of-Life Improvements
This update brings a long list of comfort improvements across the entire game:
- Better overall performance
- Updated lobby visuals and effects
- New sound effects for units and enemies
- New effects for various unit attacks
- Known exploit patches
These changes should help the game run smoother, especially during extended Endless sessions.
Gameplay Adjustments
Several general gameplay tweaks were introduced to make progression feel better:
- Smoother combat flow
- Cleaner animations
- More consistent damage calculations
These smaller adjustments help tighten up the overall balance of the game.
UI Improvements
The interface gets another round of polishing with:
- Better clarity
- More readable unit panels
- Smoother transitions
- Fixed UI bugs
If you previously had issues with menus or displays, most of them should now be resolved.
Balancing Changes
This update comes with a massive set of balancing adjustments, including:
- Endless waves completely reworked
- Map difficulty tuning
- Unit balance changes
Developers will publish full balancing notes in the balancing channel soon, so keep an eye out if you need exact numbers.
Bug Fixes
A huge number of bugs have been fixed, covering units, UI, console, and general performance:
- Console auto-skip fix
- Enchanted Rose fixed
- Witchleaf and Deathesia issues resolved
- Maze Creeper adjustments
- Aethervine, Beamstalk, and Timekeeper bugs fixed
- Trade bugs patched
- Memory leaks reduced
- Many more small issues solved
These should create a more stable experience overall.
