Surviving in Evade becomes much tougher once the map turns completely dark, especially during special rounds that limit your vision. To handle these moments, the game provides a set of Light tools that help you see the environment better and avoid incoming Nextbots. This guide breaks down every Light item available in Evade, how each one works, and what you need to unlock them.
What Lights Do in Evade
Lights are simple but important tools. Their main purpose is to brighten dark areas, allowing you to navigate safely. All Light items can be purchased inside the Equipment tab at the in-game Shop using Tokens. After you buy and equip a Light, you can activate it during a match by pressing F.
These tools shine the most in three specific special rounds: Darkness, Lurking, and Hadal Blacksite. In these modes, visibility drops drastically or disappears entirely. Having a Light equipped helps you regain sight of your surroundings, making it easier to avoid threats and complete the round.
Which Light Is Best?
Among the four, Night Vision stands out as the strongest option for special rounds. It offers the clearest view, especially during Darkness, Lurking, and Hadal Blacksite. Once you hit level 15 and save enough Tokens, it’s worth picking up right away.

- Effect: Standard handheld light that brightens the area in front of you
- How to Get: Automatically unlocked when you first join the game
2. Lantern

- Requirement: Reach level 3
3. Headlamp

4. Night Vision

Light items might seem simple, but they are some of the most valuable tools you can bring into tougher Evade modes. Whether you rely on the free Flashlight or aim to invest in Night Vision, having a Light ready will make survival far more manageable. Equip the one that fits your playstyle and stay prepared for every dark round ahead.
